you guys are all so sweet! Do you think they're good enough to get accepted into Massachussetts college of art? if any of you have heard of it?

just for kicks im going to apply at FIT, but im not expecting to get in as a freshman.  I plan on transfering, or trying to later though! if they dont accept me anyway

So yeah.  I have about 17 pics I uploaded, so I can get going with the whole portfolio thing.  I made/designed/sewed all these skirts Tongue none of the tops were made by me though :/ (a big reason why i need to go to school...i can design them I just cant sew them without a pattern)

oh, and none of these had a pattern, just made them from whatever i thought would work in my head

no, i dont use patterns on any of them.  they're too hard or something! the ruffles usually arent that hard, i generally just fold and pin (i know i do the hardway, on a lot but sometimes i use the running stitch, i just hate it when i want subtle poof!)...most of the time i think the skirt out for atleast 30 minutes before i do any cutting, like on the camo, i realized i needed 2 strips for the ruffles, one big one, one about half the size, and then the waistband, which i folded over...just hemmed the 2 first pieces, pinned and folded them together and bam! done
