ITEMS: We will be using a point system, and will be crafting
4 points worth of items.
We are using the point system because it allows more flexibility in the size of items you are to send, while still ensuring each person receives a fair package while being able to manage their time as a swap participant as well as a busy student or teacher. Requirement examples are 4 smalls, a large and a small, medium and 2 smalls, etc.
The requirement for this swap is 4 points, no less. If you and your partner discuss to craft more, that is up to you.
Point Values are as follows:
Large=3 points (3 or more hours)
Medium=2 points (2 or more hours)
Small=1 point (2 or less hours)
By Time:
Large: 3 or more hours
Medium: 2 or more hours
Small: 2 or less hours
By Size:
Big: shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse
Medium: one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
Small: earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks
By Price:
Big: $30 or more
Medium: $10-$30 dollars
Small: $10 or lessSENDING YOUR PACKAGE: YOU WILL HAVE A MONTH FROM THE DAY OF BEING ASSIGNED YOUR PARTNER TO ORGANIZE YOUR PACKAGE. Everything you send does not need to be handmade, there is a place in the questionnaire to request school supplies, but something DOES need to be handmade in order to meet requirements. Please put thought and incorporate your partners needs/interests in your swap package. A general rule to remember is to send something you would like to receive.
Delivery Conformation numbers are REQUIRED for this swap. Please keep this in mind before sending your package. You must PM me and your partner this number after sending your package.
COMMUNICATION:
Please update on the board at least once a week until the send out dates.
Once you send and receive, you MUST let me know in order to receive feedback. Communicating with your partner is also very important to ensure a happy outcome of the swap for you and your partner, and maybe you’ll make a new friend! If you do not do these things, it will be mentioned in your feedback comments that you had bad communication EVEN if you send your package to meet the requirements and on time.
FEEDBACK: Feedback will be given once you AND your partner receives packages. If for some reason you need feedback immediately after your partner receives, you need to PM me in advance. The requirements for this swap must be met in order for you to receive positive feedback.
COMMUNICATION IS VERY IMPORTANT REGARDING FEEDBACK FOR THIS SWAP.IDEAS: Stationary, agendas, revamped/custom book bags, dividers, pencil holder, tote bags, book covers, Small dorm room décor.
