9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Woven Magazines... hmmm... on: December 05, 2007 04:41:18 AM
WOW! i love it! i did the exact same thing on a bookshelf for a friend for a gift!!! i wove them together and decoupaged them like crazy and he loved it! i also incorporated old book pages (yes i know, a terrible thing. but better than throwing old crappy books away!) since it was a bookcase! i also did this with fabric for a small baby blankie using old tees and old worn in pillowcases/sheets! i just sewed them onto a clear water-soluble stabilizer and washed and voila!

but these bags are sooooo superb!! whoever gets them will SURELY be the hit wherever they go Smiley keep it up! (as i see you have with the twister bags, clock, monopoly bling bag, etc. haha)
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Game Night! (pic heavy) on: December 05, 2007 04:36:58 AM
wow. wow. wow. so i have a twister game lying around ever since i swore off the game (after getting tied up and falling hard on concrete...but that's another story) and i would have NEVER EVER thought of doing something with the game board and mat... you're brilliant. would you be OK with me possibly using the idea? i have a friend who is addicted to twister and, conveniently enough, clocks!
