1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Advice about cute, girly monster costume. on: October 23, 2010 09:03:43 AM
I know that you said that you didn't want to use these colours, but I think that green, yellow or orange would work well with a purple costume.

Wow! I can't believe that you just happened to find one of those dresses at a local thrift shop! Glad that I could help.

I think that they are all cute and Alice-esque, but I feel that the ivory dresses are too light of a colour. I would choose a dress in a dark colour like gray, brown, dark blue, or black.

I own this dress and I think that it would be perfect:

It looks like you can still buy versions of the dress on eBay:

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Bookmark swap? on: December 19, 2008 03:28:31 AM
I just made some quick and easy bookmarks for the 5 teen volunteers that help out at my library. They went over well. Smiley

I'm looking forward to finally participating in a swap. I haven't read all 11 pages of this thread. Have the details of the swap already been worked out (e.g. number of books, number of partners)? I know that all of this information will be in the official sign-up thread, but I am just wondering what I can expect.
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Christmas Ornament Swap Gallery on: December 19, 2008 03:23:50 AM
For the bear ornament I just put some feathers inside. I wish that the bear was sitting up better but i did what I could! I think they all turned out nicely Smiley

I definitely think it turned out nicely! Is there something else underneath the bear? It's white, but it doesn't look like feathers.

I love the bear ornament. What did you put in it?
