1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: New Jewels - Crystals, bones... [img PHAT] on: February 23, 2010 08:57:29 PM
Thanks guys!
The bones...most of the time I order them online.  Because I live in an apartment complex, and I don't just happen upon deceased animals often.  Otherwise it seems kind of stupid to pay for bones.  Well, except for the whole gross factor.  I have tried that a time or two as well...
I take it all back, it's way easier to just buy them.  Not very expensive anyways.
Check out The Bone Room, and Moscow Hide and Fur.  [The Bone Room even has human bones Smiley]

Smiley I'm glad someone knew what was going on.
The charms I used were more for aesthetics than meaning I suppose, depending on how you look at it, and depending on what I had available.

Yesss I buy most of my bones, except shark's teeth, I find those on the beach.  boneroom.com has some REALLY awesome stuff.  As far as treating them, they just bleach them out, sometimes spray with sealant for durability.  I wish I were lucky enough to find bones just laying around.
I don't really want to go around collecting roadkill though ehhh...

I've really got to try this.  I really like the black/silver/white one.
A beaded curtain, yes!  That's an awesome idea, and it'd be super cheap to do with these.
