1  UNITED STATES / Georgia / Re: ATL Craft Group on: August 05, 2009 10:29:29 AM
Hey, I'll be moving to ATL in a few weeks. I'd love to meet some crafty people! I could also potentially host at (what will hopefully be) my place in Decatur.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Looking for a sweater pattern on: March 12, 2009 07:41:20 AM
I don't know if you're looking for a pullover or a cardigan, but you might try these:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tie-neck-jumper
two versions of the same pattern: http://www.knitpicks.com/Puff+Sleeve+Feminine+Cardigan+Pattern_PD30922220.html or http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=161043.0
It isn't free, but Rusted Root is cute: http://www.zephyrstyle.com/catalog/item.cfm/2367447/3289215
Another not-free pattern: http://www.stitchdiva.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SDS-036
This one has a square neckline and no tie, but you might look at how they do the sleeves: http://pomoboho.blogspot.com/2007/11/such-flattering-puff-sleeves.html

Not each of these meets all your requirements, but they might offer a starting place!

Love it! And it looks so crisp and clean and summery that I don't know that it needs anything else added!

Another great one! I love the fabric and buttons. So you basically started with a tube and shirr the waist? That's it?! How wide are the straps?

*Starts rummaging around for fabric*

yeah, i made the tube twice as big as my waist and then shirred it and then took in the sides of the bust. the straps are about 2.5 inches wide, but i gathered them at the ends so the strap actually kinda folds over and does not appear that wide. i hope that answers your questions and makes sense  Smiley

Sure does; thanks!

Cute! Both you and the tights. No need to be so self-deprecating!
