Hey sexy! xD Looking awesome modeling those scarves! You gonna be bringing those when you come up for Christmas? I'd like to see them personally so I can debate on whether to make em or not. xD

64  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Koi anyone? on: November 29, 2007 05:45:14 PM
Just wanted to say that this is MARVELOUS!! I'm a huuuuge koi lover and I currently own about 15 koi in a small pond in my backyard... I had to fence it up really good cause stray cats keep attacking them. @_@

I was curious if there was a pattern that is being tested or if it's already been tested and is ready to be posted. I'd really like to know how to make this. (and probably, it'd be the first amigurumi if I can't get a hold of this girl who's supposed to be getting me the skeins of yarn for her request. ><)

Awwww crudders!!! I hate being a college student with no car and no job. ><

Maybe I'll beg my fiance to buy it for me... Those are soooo freaking adorable!!

DUDE!! I'm soooo gonna make a Spinel-chan!! xD Do you mind if I use your pattern (and make a few modifications, like ears and stuff) to make Spinel?
68  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Easy first project! Cat-eared hat! on: November 25, 2007 08:19:20 PM
That's a nice looking hat, and I love that color.  Did you use a pattern or make it up yourself?  What kind of yarn did you use?

Thank you, and I kinda made up a pattern. And I think I used Caron Simply Soft yarn (the name of teh color was Limelight, I'm sure...)

So yes... I'm new here, not exactly new to knitting cause I've been knitting since about... 7 years ago. Crochetting for abotu 10 years.... But it was all on and off... I'd be interested, and then I'd get too busy and stop... And then I'd get back on it... and then stop...

But even though I've started years ago, ever since then, I've NEVER finished a project. Not even a washcloth...

So, I worked my hardest making this... Which took me 2 non-stop hours to make. And it's actually pretty easy. It's mostly knit, but there's a bit of crochet in there too cause I messed up on the size of the hat and it wasn't as long as I wanted it to be. xD And forgive me for teh lack of quality... I was rushed to get this picture taken.

(me looking down)

And I forgot to take side pictures... But it's a really simple hat to make really... It was inspired by a Japanese comic that I read a while back.
