I think this will be my next project after I finish this next three more baby starghans. (that is... if my friends will STOP making babies!!) I gots this bookmarked. x3 This would be cute in my wardrobe! (and maybe get stolen by some of my friends, lolz)

xD As soon as I get a camera, I'll post up pictures of my "monotone" starghan. x3 Right now it's probably about... meh, half done? I've already used up 4 skeins of Bernat Satin in Sunrise (or is it Sunset? or was it Sunshine??? crap, I can't remember teh name of the color!!!) And it doesn't look big enough... (cause babies grow wicked fast!!)

A friend of mine has a baby on the way (she's 3 months pregnant and such a cute baby bump!!) and both parents are HUUUUUGE fans of Super Mario Brothers... Which is why it's only one color... ^^; I'm gonna see if I can make the eyes or just embroidery it on the blanket or something... I'm hoping to make the blanket big enough so the baby can keep it until well into it's toddler years... x3 (maybe big enough to fit half a twin size bed?? I don't know... I'm just eyeballing the size.)

And... is it supposed to eat up yarn faster the farther along you go? @_@ the 4th skein that I used probably was finished within 4-5 rounds... I've made a blanket once (but it was maybe... 2 or 3 of those one pound skeins... I don't remember).... but it's not quite as fun as this one! (I might make one for myself. tee hee)

That is really beautiful... If only I had the patience to work with sc... But the only time I use sc is when I'm crochetting amigurumis... And that's not very often.

This tutorial is a godsend for figuring out the first couple rows for us beginners.

I really want to try this and make a "paopu fruit" blanket for a friend as a suprise birthday gift, but I think I'm confusing the heck out of myself the first 2 or 3 rounds. I can't get it to work right. I'm also pretty new at reading patterns, so could anyone like... show me a short video or have a few pics that I can refer to showing the steps? I'm sorry if I sound really bothersome. I really really want to try making this blanket! T^T

My gosh... if I was your husband... I'd be buying you the biggest diamond ring I could find just for making something sooo freaking awesome! Grin

Of course... That's if your husband was rich enough to find the largest diamond ring he could find... (perhaps the largest he can afford would suffice... lolz)

Holy crap! I just realized that this thread is featured under Hot New Projects!!!

xD And I've only been here at Craftsters for a month or two! That's like... Getting a grammy award or something to me!! WOOT!

First of all: great job! I know the game, and you nailed the symbol!
Second: A similar thing happened to me with my ex, when I was your age. Now he's miserable with his new wife & I'm 25 & have an awesome man in my life (he even tolerates my humongeous yarn stash  Grin). meaning: F**K him! Men like that are not even worth one split-second of your time. Trust me, you'll be glad that didn't marry that jerk! Keep your head up & keep knitting such great things. A blanket would rock.  Smiley

Oh gosh! I'm glad that I didn't screw up the symbol then! xD *woots* I have never played the game before but I've watched my little brother play it and he loves the game. (I don't have good enough hand-eye coordination to play such a great game! probably why I knit so darn slow..)

I'm thinking of graphing a nobodies symbol and a heartless-Shadow's head. x3 A friend has asked for a little swatch to hang up in her dorm room and I get free reign of whatever Kingdom Hearts-related symbol it is!

Ahh! No yer not a wierdo! I've only been to one con (Granted, gone to that one con 5 times now XD) and it's fabulous. I've been doing research and may venture out to other conventions, but yes, cosplay is a total addiction! Also, that idea for a "Heartless" schoolgirl sounds so cute! I've been wanting to do a "Heartless" fan creation for awhile now Smiley

The best thing about Orgy XIII is all the possibilities of yaoi goodness Tongue If you're into that, anyway. (Which I am, haha. *fangirl*)

We could.. do a personal trade thing? >.> I'd totally be willing to make you a paopu fruit pillow (or a couple even, in different sizes. They're fun to make ^_^) in exchange for one of these knitted heartless things :O Whaddya say? *puppy dog eyes* lol.

EEEE!!! Paopu fruit!!! xD (if I had one giant paopu that I can cuddle with every night and dream of Axel and Demyx and Roxas... *drools* And I'll toss in Riku to try and pull me out of the orgy.) dangit... now I feel like making a bunch of amigurumi orgies... with paopu amigurumi attached to them... lolz

Maybe I should let you know about these knitted heartless thingies... Since I finally figured out how to make them they should be done a lil faster than this one... And this one swatch comes out to be about 12" by 12"... (I'm gonna have to make a run to the closest JoAnn's to get more yarn for it... I just realized that I don't have anymore of the yarn that I had used for this one...)

I don't mind a personal swap, honestly... It'll keep my mind off of jerk-face anyways. Um... if we do end up swapping, do you mind acrylic yarn? Also, um... since they're about 12"x12"... Would you rather have two swatches? That way you could sew up the sides and fill em up to make a nice couch/throw pillow or something. I dunno... I'm just asking... These things took me a few nights to do since I have two jobs and I was going to college full time all at the same time... (now I'm on winter break and I'm freaking stoked about it!)
