this is an awesome idea! my husband has a huge bbq pit. yup we are from texas Tongue i showed this to him and he gave me the death stare. haha i love it! maybe one day if it ever falls apart, but i doubt it, that thing is heavy as hell and made of good quality metal. :/ funny story: they tried to steal it since we dont have a fence around the house we rent and they didnt even make it out the yard with it, its that big and heavy. lol

15  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / where do you purchase your sewing supplies? on: February 20, 2010 04:26:31 PM
Ive been hunting around trying to find good deals on supplies. Thanks to a response by SewClassic on a different thread she gave the heads up on purchasing needles from discount embroidery supply, which is very helpful to me because i have a stupid kenmore  Angry (just kidding serger, i love you!!!)  and have trouble finding needles that fit. But where do you guys get all the rest of your stuff like thread, zippers, lace, all that good stuff.
I have bought fabric and lace on ebay and my aunt has brought me spools of thread for my serger from mexico, but my supply is running low and my aunt hasnt come to visit in a while. oh and when i did buy lace and stuff from ebay, i found it sold by the roll at hobby lobby and walmart for a fraction of the cost! darn! Tongue
PLEASSSEEEE SHARE YOUR SUPPLIERS!!!  Wink

19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: New and improved maternity jeans, with tutorial (plenty o' pics) on: January 04, 2010 04:12:17 AM
i love this!!! maternity jeans are sooo expensive and the ones that arent fit crappy. im really short and normally petite but for some reason i start to show super early. im 4 months and my jeans are starting to fit tight so i think its time to get the old jeans and scissors out. i got brand new pairs of pants at the flea market (tags on and everything) for 5 bucks each, but then a week later i found out i was pregnant and i new they wouldnt last long. i think ill use your tute and recon a couple! thanks sooo much again!

ps im glad im not the only one that experiences the annoying twisting elastic band, to be honest it pisses me off! lol
