1  Rainbowy Chaos in Crochet: Completed Projects by OrangeAngel23 on: January 19, 2008 07:13:22 PM

I made a hand bag for my younger sister!  This is how it came out!  I used a rainbow colored variegated yarn.  What do you think for my first hand bag?

2  Re: Ongoing Offer-What-You-Have (Crafts or Supplies) Swap - December/January in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by OrangeAngel23 on: January 13, 2008 07:54:16 PM
I steak a claim from lulubean and I would like something made from fancy fur yarn.

________________________________________________

Here is my list of things that I have to offer.  You may only claim 1 item from the list.

1 -

Small hand made afghan
  ((has been claimed))

2 -

Grimlin type pins (4 total, must go as a set)

3 -

Necklace 1

4 -

Necklace 2

5 -

Necklace 3

EDIT - sorry I forgot to add necklace 3, and all of my jewelry is hypoallergenic, in case someone is allergic to fake metals like I am.  And to those who are offering jewelry or things made with wire, you might want to add if it is hypoallergenic or not because I am very alergic to fake or plated metals.

3  A Small Afghan + Small Tutorial in Crochet: Completed Projects by OrangeAngel23 on: January 13, 2008 05:47:34 PM

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/SnowFae23/PICT0020.jpg

Here is a small afghan I made.  It was designed to go across the back of a rocking chair or couch.

Hope its nice!

Tutorial for seamless afghan.
For making a seamless afghan like mine, make sure your ending tail is at least twice the length of the granny square.  Then take your large sewing needle and stitch them together but go through each individual chain.  Be sure to go through the center of the chain and not around the chain, other wise you will have a seam, though sometimes seams can be a nice texture if it is done correctly.  At the end when you are done connecting be sure to tuck in the extra yarn just to give it that extra security!!

6  Turquoise delight in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by OrangeAngel23 on: January 10, 2008 02:25:47 PM

I call this, Turquoise Delight!  Its a mix of turquoise and silver beads.  I made matching earrings and bracelet too.  This took me about 20 to 30 minutes to make.  It's simple yet elegant at the same time!!  I had a hard time getting a clear picture because the beads were so shiney.

10  My Red Crystal Swarvowski Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by OrangeAngel23 on: November 28, 2007 08:55:00 PM

I did it!!  I made my first swarvowski crystal necklace!  Usually I mix other beads with it, but I wanted to see what it'd look like with mostly swarvowski crystals in it!  So let me know what you think!!  I used red and the clear ones are cubic zirconiums beads, and I also used REAL silver beads.  I can't work with the jewelry well when its not real metals, because I have allergies, so I always have to use surgical steel, or silver, or nickel like metals.  It's a pain too... and I am slightly allergic to gold too... so I don't make too many gold jewelry.
