1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Made a treasury? List it here! on: October 07, 2011 10:38:44 PM
I just made my very first treasury called "Colorful Reading".  It was a lot of fun to make- a person could really spend hours just looking at items!  Thanks for checking it out if you can:

2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: $6 Candy Corn Inspired Nails for Autumn/Fall on: October 01, 2011 06:10:42 PM
Woah, how cool!  I love how they look like autumn and Halloween without being too literal.  Thanks for the tut!
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Still haven't sold anything? on: September 21, 2011 08:33:36 PM
I just started an Etsy shop recently too, and I noticed that on my shop even though my number of sales is low, if you buy something from someone else and leave feedback for them (or if they leave it for you), that will show in your feedback spot with your feedback percentage.  So I think buying a few things from others on Etsy could be a good way to show others that you are a reputable/trustworthy person to get you started (and it's also a good way to support other crafters/artists!).  Your shoes are super-cute- I added you to my circle & favorites on Etsy...good luck with your upcoming sales!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: LAXMI, The Doily Style Vest on: September 21, 2011 07:11:14 PM
That is absolutely beautiful.  I thought it was a little flower for your hair from the thumbnail- it is even more incredible now that I know it is full-sized and wearable!  Looks like a lot of time and love went into making it.

How adorable- what skill!  What is the cheese made out of?  It looks so real!

That is such a nice idea!  I work at a non-profit that serves homeless and near-homeless women.... I am thinking maybe I could have my clients make some of these that we could save and give to our incoming clients.  Craftster always gets me thinking- thank you for your post!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Reuse starbucks teabags TUTORIAL on: September 07, 2011 09:19:04 PM
What a good idea (and eco-friendly, too).  I didn't have an infuser for my loose leaf tea at work so I used coffee filters...it was not too chic looking.  I will have to try this instead!

Wow!  That is so creative, and it came out so nice!  How did you make the back?  I feel like I want to make one of these immediately...maybe in red to match my room.
9  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Vagina Cupcakes NSFW on: September 04, 2011 05:29:56 PM
Those so cool!  Did you make them with fondant?  I would like to see these in my cupcake decorating books, hehe.  I like how they have all the important bits on them...

I work for a women's health program (where the topics of anatomy, bodies, etc come up every day with our clients) and I wish I were bold enough to bring these in.  Well, I will definitely think about it!
10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Hand built pottery class projects (img heavy) on: September 04, 2011 05:19:17 PM
Wow!  I can't believe you made those things in your first two classes!  My favorites were the blue tile with the swirls and leaves (or maybe it is a plate, it is hard to tell).  The detail on that is amazing.  I also love the bowl with the leave prints- how did you do that?  The nature-inspired designs are really thoughtful.
