Btw, it is not big enough to fit an A4 sized file or stuff it's only 10.5 " by dunnoi what, so it's rather small.
the next time i make another one, i'm going to make sure it can fit at least A4 so i can carry it to school!

Hey, i didn't extend the flap, i just didn't use interfacing at all, cause i wanted it to be all slouchy,
btw, the straps were way too short, so i extended them!
I LOVE THE BAG:D

So like about last year, i was looking through the purses, bags and wallets section here on craftster, and i stumbled upon HeartofMary's AWESOME citybackpack. It was gorgeous and absolutely like what i wanted to BUY. then i thought to myself, i can make this! but after awhile, i forgot. Then just about 3 days ago, my MidYear Examinations ended, so i decided, to reward myself with some fabric. I headed down to Ikea with my bestfriend, and at first, picked up a roll of thin pink. white, yellow striped fabric. It was nice, but not quite what i wanted. As i was about to walk towards the Cashier, i saw loads of cloth. I was damn excited. And tada! i found this beautiful blue and white striped fabric. I spent the past two days working on it. and Now, im finally done.
I know the lining may seem abit strange, considering the colour is rather differnt from the outside.
The drawstring is from some twine that i braided and used gold thread thing to wrap at the bottom with some UHU glue.

Btw, i lengthened the straps by A LOT. when i cut it and sewed it, i could barely put my arms through, so i just cut an extra bit and sewed it on.

Hey there, i've been searching high and low for this sort of blouse,and i finally found one at fourever21, but the size is wayyy to big for me ):
so i'm wondering if anyone knows where to get patterns or like tutorials on how to make such tops.

i already bought some satin to make the top. now all i need is a tute or a pattern to follow.

So my bestfriends' birthday is coming. & she wanted a new wallet.
This whole year, her wallet has been this crappy ladybug purse (more like a coin pouch, since she likes it that way) with a plastic covering (also done by me). and now i think it's time to trash it. so i've decided to make her a new one for her coming birthday.
I got this fabric from the daylight robbery store, Spotlight. but at a 20 % discount so it isn't too bad. i lined the inside of the cloth with some thick white cotton fabric i got for about 2 bucks per metre. the zip only costed me 25 cents
well. this isn't all i'm giving her. but i think she may use this a lot a lot a lot

also, does anyone know a pattern for the top that Blair wore in one of the later episodes in Season 2? (GOSSIP GIRL) . it's like a high collared sleeveless shirt, made out of satin/silk material. i love it a lot. and i have been shopping around for tops like that, but the dont' seem to have it in my size ): all too big!
