1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Flower Headband on: February 27, 2011 10:26:22 PM

So, I miss the low-rider headband trend.  Tongue
I made this on Friday night, and it hasn't left my head for more than a few hours.
The flowers are scrapbook embellishments just hot-glued onto a piece of black elastic.
I know, simple. Smiley
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / T-shirt Dress. on: July 16, 2009 09:53:41 PM
So, my mom informed me that we had a whole bunch of little boys white t-shirts just sitting in the closet.
I had no knowledge of this until she told me... but boy, did I have a field day with those little boy shirts.
This is a dress, constructed from two shirts. =)
Ignore the awful picture skills/bra. xD

Not a tute, but directions. Smiley
If I make another, I'll get the pictures, promise.

1. cut two t-shirts from armpit to armpit, so you have two t-shirt tubes.
2. sew the two tubes of t-shirt together.
3. Using long stitches, stitch a gathering down the center of the dress.
4. Gather until it fits you or looks the way you want.
5. Add buttons or other embellishments.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Poly Peas in a Pod. on: January 09, 2009 07:30:50 PM
gigagiggles, if you look you're toast.

I made this for the Kawaii Foods Swap I am angeling for.
It's made of sculpy in a color I mixed myself because I couldn't find a green I liked.
Painted the faces on.
And coated it down with some matte mod podge.
And behold- a peas in a pod pendant!

Apologies about the quality of my picture.
It seems that it is a tad blurry, but I am too lazy to take another picture.

I've seen punk and skull type swaps... but , that sort of stuff gives me the creeps.
Are there any other people who'd be interested in doing a girly girl swap?
for any of us who prefer hearts and stars over skulls and black...
