1  Re: Hair Accessories Swap in The Swap Gallery by EmBem on: August 07, 2011 06:25:07 AM
Alright! So, after about a week of back and fourth (without internet at my apartment)... I finally have pictures to post and an internet connection to post them!

I love everything honeyd sent! Smiley

Here's a quick over view with all the extras (nerds chapstick and clip in extensions!)

And now for the crafties:

My favorite is this pink headband- it's the comfiest thing on my head (I've been wearing it a lot!)

And then there's this one that's very similar but with a cute flower on it:

LOVE IT!

And Finally this little guy- my new dino friend! He looks so cute clipped to my hair!

Smiley THANKS SO MUCH, HONEYD!

I love everything tons!

2  Flower Headband in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by EmBem on: February 27, 2011 10:26:22 PM

So, I miss the low-rider headband trend.  Tongue
I made this on Friday night, and it hasn't left my head for more than a few hours.
The flowers are scrapbook embellishments just hot-glued onto a piece of black elastic.
I know, simple. Smiley

Thank you so much ecogeek*  Grin
I love the charm bracelet/earrings set you sent me!
Cheesy

I tried to get pictures of the individual charms, but I am not so good at using my mom's camera (I lost my charger for my camera)... but here is the most clear overview without needing to squint for my lack of photo-knowledge.
Clockwise from midnight: peach's crown, chomp chomp, zelda triforce, tetris t-block, and squirtle.
I adore this bracelet; I want to wear it all the time! Cheesy

The second part was some matching earrings.
Tetris L-blocks!
Cheesy They're too adorable.

Again, thanks so much ecogeek* I hope you like your tiny thing as much as I love mine!

5  T-shirt Dress. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by EmBem on: July 16, 2009 09:53:41 PM
So, my mom informed me that we had a whole bunch of little boys white t-shirts just sitting in the closet.
I had no knowledge of this until she told me... but boy, did I have a field day with those little boy shirts.
This is a dress, constructed from two shirts. =)
Ignore the awful picture skills/bra. xD

Not a tute, but directions. Smiley
If I make another, I'll get the pictures, promise.

Okay-

1. cut two t-shirts from armpit to armpit, so you have two t-shirt tubes.
2. sew the two tubes of t-shirt together.
3. Using long stitches, stitch a gathering down the center of the dress.
4. Gather until it fits you or looks the way you want.
5. Add buttons or other embellishments.

6  Poly Peas in a Pod. in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by EmBem on: January 09, 2009 07:30:50 PM
gigagiggles, if you look you're toast.
 Angry

I made this for the Kawaii Foods Swap I am angeling for.
It's made of sculpy in a color I mixed myself because I couldn't find a green I liked.
Painted the faces on.
And coated it down with some matte mod podge.
And behold- a peas in a pod pendant!

Apologies about the quality of my picture.
It seems that it is a tad blurry, but I am too lazy to take another picture.

Sorry I was later than I said I would be with posting pictures.
Finals are looming and I have been stressing to get everything in for my classes.
 Sad
Anyway.
Excuses, Excuses...
Here it is!
Thanks so much, Nicolatte!

Quick shot of everything:

A beautiful drawing of vaporeon (my favorite pokemon!)
I am actually going to hang this in my locker next semester when I start highschool classes again.
My friend, who is also a pokemon fanatic, is sharing a locker with me. =) It's gonna be great!

Jigglypuff coasters and cute little pokeball tin!

And last, but certainly not least- an adorable pearler bead pokeball magnet!
