What a great project. If I'd just come over & seen them I would have guessed they came from an expensive artsy boutique, not something you redid yourself. They turned out so modern yet feminine--I just love them.

haha. I'm pretty sure you could market those at pet stores.

IDK about anyone else, but my cat cries at closed doors. And by crying, I mean loud, long, plaintive mewing that literally sounds like a newborn fussing.

Very nice job, She's going to really love it! and it will have special meaning to her.
I think it's a great idea to do a Bible study on the names of God... I'd like to see it more closeup to read it better! K

I got the info on it mostly from this site: http://www.blueletterbible.org/study/misc/name_god.cfm

Hey guys,

This is the first time I've posted a project. It's an acrylic painting on a 12x12 canvas that I made for my aunt for Christmas. It's not totally my taste but I made it for my aunt & I think it will be really meaningful to her.

That aunt has just moved into a new house & has been talking about decorating her bedroom. Her closest sister passed away a few years back & had made her a wall hanging with white lattice. She also loves this brown bedspread with red roses on it, so her theme is red roses and white lattice (red, white, and brown color scheme).

That same sister told my aunt that she should do a bible study on the names of God. My aunt's biggest regret is not getting that done soon enough to talk to her sister about it before she died because she says it has made a huge difference in her faith & has really meant a lot to her.

Over the past few days I've worked on this painting for her, tell me what you think. Please ignore my dirty carpet--I have no idea what that is on the floor. I messed up on the script in a few places but overall I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Katy
