Martin "Fretty Fingers" Everybody!!

Since I was sending him out from work, he played the "hold music" while I got his envelope ready.

Fretty is home!  Look at all his goodies!

These are a couple of my favorite pages from his scrapbook...

Thank you Gwenyvar!  You put together an awesome package and scrapbook.

Here's my LV.  He likes thunderstorms.  He got to watch the lightening last night. His name is Martin but he wants a stage name to go by.

"My parents' divorce & my dad's absence from my life didn't seem to affect me at all.  Now I see it left me spinning in...low self esteem, anger, shame, doubt, hate, self pity, anxiety

"I hope you do marry her... 10 years later... you'll be miserable, & it will serve you RIGHT."

"I lie, I cheat, I steal, I'm lazy, I'm a drug addict, and a hypocrite.
I'm not who I want to be."

"You were right...but it's to late for apologies."

"I don't care what Hollywood says... I think my 32A breasts are lovely."

Green poop on back.  hehe

"I slept with my friend's husband before they even met"
On back it says "I can't bring myself to tell her"

75  "Love Me" and Skull pillow case in Needlework: Completed Projects by RaeRaggs on: March 24, 2008 06:35:49 PM
My friend drew this little guy and I really love it.  He also drew this "skull" so I made a set of pillow cases for him.  He hasn't gotten them in the mail yet but I hope he likes them.

76  Re: I <3 Tea/Coffee/Cocoa Swap Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RaeRaggs on: February 27, 2008 09:43:28 AM

I loved the package I got from RockstarMom!  First of all, I've wanted a poppet since the first adorable one I saw and she made me Peppermint Mocha.  She's so cute with her peppermint and coffee bean beads in her hair and her crocheted sweater dress.  Luv her!

She made two tea cozies for me.  One corset style lace up and one with buttons.  They are both really cute.  I like dressing up my cups and they've been a real coversation piece at work.

RockstarMom also sent a little bundle of greeting cards with cute little tea bags and coordinating envelopes as well as a precious little note pad that says "Espresso Yourself" and has a little tea stamp on it.  And if you ask me, buttons make anything cuter.  Smiley

She also sent some edibles and sippables. hehe.  As predicted, the espresso meringue cookies were gone long before I got near my camera.  There are also three kinds of coffee there, some chai tea and some chocolate biscotti. Mmmm.

So that's my package.  Thank you RockstarMom! Grin

77  Jewelry box in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by RaeRaggs on: January 25, 2008 02:04:14 PM

I found a dirty brown jewelry box at the thrift store and thought it had potential. Wish I had before pics. I tore out the original dirty lining and put some polka dot felt in. After sanding and giving it a fresh coat of white paint, I decoupage flower pictures from a magazine to the sides and top. Now I don't have to keep my jewelry in a plastic baggie.  Smiley

78  cat toys-$1 to make in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by RaeRaggs on: January 25, 2008 12:49:48 PM
These are cheap and easy and are actually outlasting the store bought ones. I cut a dowel rod so it was 2 feet long, drilled a hole in one end and tied a nylon string through it. I used embroidery thread to tie on feathers and a bell, using a fly fishing method I think, so its nice and tight. I added a drop of hot glue in the middle of the feathers too. I just painted them to make them look more fun.

79  Bird Wall Art in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by RaeRaggs on: January 07, 2008 09:02:18 AM
This is a mixed media poster.  I was inspired by something I saw in a store ad but I dont remember where.  Its paint, paper, and ink on poster board.  The frame is handmade from wall trim and painted white.

Here is a close up of the metalic paper used on the bird as well as the ink design.

80  Swank Clarinet Lamp in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by RaeRaggs on: January 04, 2008 12:23:02 PM
I used to play this lamp in 6th grade.  Smiley My dad helped me cut the wood from a broken desk and router it for the base.  Its painted black with silver edging.  The shade was given to me as a gift specifically for this project.  It uses night light sized bulbs.  This is by far my favorite project yet because of the sentimental value it holds.  Now I need to repurpose the case.  Wink

Thanks for looking!
