1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / dresser, nightstand, & mirrors re-do (pic heavy) on: October 27, 2012 05:46:02 PM
So recently a lady saw my fb page for my furniture and wanted me to redo some of her bedroom pieces. They're all vintage, 70's, spanish med style.. all of which I love. except for that cheapo wood look. Anyway, she wanted them painted white, glazed black, and a high gloss coat.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / collage resin rings, spoon necklace, etc. (pics) on: November 15, 2009 05:34:50 PM
So me and a friend have started making jewelry & other misc items. We're still in the beginning stages (only poured a few batches of resin) but these are some we have done lately.

Comments & criticism would be greatly appreciated!!!

Some new resin rings.

Mushroom charm accompanied by the quote "Please don't hesitate to get lost." to remind yourself it's okay to get lost once in a while. In fact, I think it's the only way to truly find yourself.

First attempt at a resin spoon pendant necklace.

Recycled art collage bangle

Non traditional hemp dreamcatcher

Thanks for your time.

3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Feedback on new products? (img heavy) on: November 14, 2009 08:18:43 PM
Here is our recent batch of new designs. We're pretty new at this so we'd appreciate any comments and criticism. Would especially love to hear opinions and thoughts as to how we should price these. What do you think is a fair price?
Thanks in advance.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / revamped turquoise desk (3 pics) on: October 27, 2009 01:04:36 AM
I've been a long time lurker of this site but have never actually posted anything soooo here goes.

I found an old desk at the salvation army that I thought might have some potential. Unfortunately I don't have any before pictures but it was an ugly offwhite/yellowish speckled paint. After a few hours of sanding a ton, a couple coats of paint, fine sanding and a few layers of protective gloss coating on top to make it stain resistant this is what I came out with..

Here are a few pictures:

I kept the original hardware because it matched the detailing..

There's a few things that could be better when you look at it up close but it was my first piece of furniture.

Comments, criticism, etc. more than welcome!
Thanks.
