yours is definitely cooler, the sally dolls ive seen at the disney store and hot topic dont do her justice, i made one by hand a few moths ago and my thumbs are still numb, haha, and shes really heavy but i like the whole handmade look, it seems more authentic to the movie, thats also why i think yours is so cool too.
any more dolls planned?
16  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Painting dolls????? help!:( on: December 02, 2007 04:37:42 PM
I have a question about painting dolls, specifically the plain ones you find at dollar stores, you know, the generic Barbies.

I have a special type of project that i want to do with one but id have to paint the whole body, and i wanted to know if theirs any special type of paint for this, or if a glaze or something has to go over it afterwards?

i dont want it to feel dry and dusty after its dried and i definitely dont want any cracks to start appearing.

Can anyone help me? Sad

haha, you know what this might be just me but i could've sworn that "Ms.Argentina" from Beetlejuice was supposed to be half a woman that was connected to a swivel chair, or thats how i remembered it until i saw the movie recently, haha.
And thank you so much, ms paint, for me at least, is definitely something i only attempt when i know i have a really long window of time with nothing to do. it gets really frustrating too.
Thank you so much Cheesy
