1  Arizona / Arizona: North / Re: Prescott, AZ Crafters on: July 31, 2011 08:52:40 PM
Hi!
I'm a counted cross-stitcher myself and love embroidery.  Maybe we should get together like those knitters did at the coffeehouse.  People started coming up and watching and joining in.
And no -- you are my only response on here.  Sad

I'd like to start a get-together for those in the Quad City area.  If you're into crafting, let's talk!

3  Arizona / Arizona: Central / Needlecraft stores in Glendale, Phoenix, or Tempe Arizona on: February 02, 2010 07:07:59 PM
I love counted cross stitch and am looking for a good shop where I can go and buy fabrics, patterns, etc.  Not Michaels, Joann or Hobby Lobby -- REAL needlework stores.  Any good shops in the Phoenix, Glendale or Tempe areas?
Many thanks.

I really love what you did with this bag!
What pack was the design from and where can I get it?
Thanks!

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Re: http://www.freecycle.org/ is a lifesaver! on: February 10, 2009 11:55:34 AM
Hi!
Try this site -- http://www.freecycle.org and sign up FREE for your area.
People on there ask and offer things you won't believe -- including craft supplies.
I asked for spare yarn -- and now have over 200 skeins!  I asked for drawing supplies and got desks, easels, paper, pencils, charcoal -- altogether about $800 worth -- totally free!!!!!!!
Terrific free source!
