>I really like your site. I bookmarked it.

THANKS!

>I laughed at your comment about being twice your Aunt's age now. I can relate. I know I was just 25!  Smiley

YES, it is amazing how fast the time goes.  The old people tell you that, but you don't believe it - and suddenly you're 52!

>I think you need 10 posts to post pictures so just start posting.  Smiley
Done - I updated the post with photos.  New bags on the blog - will be updating again before the weekend is through.

I really like this pattern.  I've made four large bags now, and made it smaller for the barkcloth bag.  I made it a bit too small - I would make it at least a couple of inches bigger. Here are thumbnails with photos at my gallery!

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: The 2007 "What do I make for..." thread! on: December 05, 2007 08:52:40 PM
Well, this sort of fits in with the topic..

My husband and I are buying gift cards (I know.. boring!) for my brother in-law & his girlfriend. Anyone have any crafty gift card presentation ideas?? I mean I can't just throw it into a card- that's no fun at all. Cheesy

Cheesy :DYou can try something my husband did to me - big box.  Filled with used jeans and socks (clean).  And the gift card taped to the inside top of the box - you open it and see the clothing and wonder what the heck - it takes a while to find the gift card.  I supposed you could fill it with newspaper or popcorn or something cheaper!

This really made the gift more memorable!

These are wonderful.  At 13, I can see you have a great sewing future ahead of you.

I think you did a great job - even better when it your first one.

What fabric did you use for the CC?

They really do remind me of Peg Bundy!

This is quite spectacular!  It looks great - can't believe you designed it yourself.

Ironing is good!  When you are sewing.  I don't iron otherwise.
