wheee I'm almost done!!!

man did I score BIIIG today.  I'm so happy that I jsut have to tell someone so, please don't mind me!

First, I went to a yard sale at my FIL's business that one of his employees was having and got 3 vintage melamine plates and a pallete pin. then I went to visit mamaw ( our adopted grandma, who is actually one of the girls in this swaps real gramma) and she gave us two couches from the 60's/70's, THEN I went to a thrift store that was closing down and got a TON of crafty goodness including a sewing machine (that I paid 2 bucks for and it WORKS BETTER THAN MY BRAND NEW MACHINE), a ton of doilies, paintings, fabric out the wazoo, needlework kits, light switch covers..literaly 200 dollars+ of stuff for $20.00!!!!!!! and then I took my 8 month old trick or treating and got a ton of candy.

hooray for meeeee!!!!

I love those, and I wish I could pull off something that intracate!

I'm sure there are some websites that have info on washing vintage linens, if it were me I would handwash with mild soap and dry flat.

29  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Budweiser Top/Costume on: October 22, 2008 07:32:30 PM
haha awesome.  our beer of choice in our house is Budweiser, and my husband can recite the whole budweiser banner by heart.

We live really close to the worlds largest budweiser beer can, it's an old grain silo painted to look just like the bud can.

In fact, one of the reasons wh my husband followed me around so much when we were first dating was becuas we drank the same beer, smoked the same cigarettes, and loved the same kind of liqour.
I like this costume, and I really wish I had those sheets.
30  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: a few new hats! on: October 22, 2008 10:42:00 AM
