11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Getting Ironed Pleats to be Permanent? on: August 25, 2004 09:56:38 PM
Ah..so Im making a reconstructed skirt out of an old pair of PJ pants, pretty sure they're 100% cotton.
I'm putting pleats at the bottom of it...I've ironed and starched them to the nines, will this stay?
I know that somehow, they get pants that you buy in stores to have like a permanent crease...it seems that starch would just come out when its washed.  Any Ideas? Fanks!
