61  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Juggling Chickens! on: December 01, 2008 07:22:44 PM
Those are great! I don't juggle, but my brother-in-law (who's name I drew this year) does. What did you stuff them with? Also, how big are they? (I can sort of guess from the pictures if you don't have the time to measure them).

Did I mention they are awesome?

Wow, those are adorable!

It looks gorgeous, and looking at the pattern it might be something I could handle. I have a favourite sweater ruined by a small and obvious hole that's just waiting to be reborn into something just like this!

Dang, you beat me to it! I'm sitting on a mountain of yarn trying to find the time with a 6 month old to make -- yes -- a tetris blanket! Definitely an awesome idea and I liked the way yours turned out.

That's awesome. Did you have any special tricks to get the pins to stand up, or is that just darn fine crochet skills and a whole lot of stuffing? (I can barely get some of the stuff animals I crochet to stand up)

What a great idea and beautifully done!

Awwww. Poor Luigi. I never realized how left out he was. Great work!

Zowee! When I saw the thumbnail on the main page I thought it was a real lily. Well done!

Do NOT show my husband. He'll insist that our daughter needs one (and I'm trying to make sure she's not quite as big as of geek as her father!). LOL.

It's great! Cheesy

Can I ask, what does the back look like?  Is it one sided, or did she knit a back too?  If so, is it plain, or does the tetris pattern continue to the back?

Sorry for all the questions!  I love this...I was thinking it might be great to make one for my hubby!

I have the same question -- I have been wanting to knit a tetris blanket for a while now but didn't realize Intarsia doesn't look all that hot on the wrong side, and I don't really want to knit two blankets and sew them together just to hide the back. So I'm curious how this was done...
