The house and ring were all created using peyote stitch. It was the first time I've ever created anything really structural with beads so I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

I didn't really keep track of how long it took me to make, but I would say at least five hours. Most of which was spent weaving the leftover threads into the peyote stitch, haha. (Check out the pictures of the ring in progress to see what I'm talking about).

Next time I might make more of an effort to make things on the same thread. Like instead of making the walls and then attaching them, I could have used the thread left over from the ring and made the walls directly on the ring).

Nice! I made one of these for myself after seeing some similar bracelets in the Garnet Hill catalog a while back:





It's just like working with a beading loom, except it's only one bead wide!

Don't you hate it when your little finger has a spasm and just happens to hit the enter key right when you least expect it? Haha, anyway.. I've been a busy little bee and I made this necklaces over the weekend in preparation for the holidays. Nothing too spectacular but I'm really happy with what I've made. I think the hardest part of the holidays is making amazing stuff and then having to give it away! (But then at the same time I love giving presents so yeah, ahah)

I'm a huge fan of the jewelry that Temperance Brennan wears on the tv show Bones, (especially the clunkier styles) so several of these credit that as their inspiration. Green and Brown Fish Necklace

This is by far my favorite of all the necklaces here. I bought three of these fish with no real idea as to what I was going to do with them. One down, two to go I guess, lol.


Turquoise and Gold Opera Length Necklace

I always forget how much I love opera length necklaces but this is based on one I saw in a high end catalog selling for £225. =-o Stuff like that makes me so grateful that I can make my own jewelry.


Blue Strands with Metal Pendant Necklace

I went into Joann's the other day and discovered that Blue Moon Beads has a new "line" called Global Nomad, which the pendant is from. Definitely the top find of the day.


Green and Pink/Peach Lariat Necklace

I couldn't figure out if the accents on the beads was gold or copper, but since I didn't have any copper I just went with adding more gold to the necklace.

Purple and Green with Jasper Elephant Necklace

After practically pulling my hair out when I couldn't find any beads to go with the elephant here, I remembered that I made this necklace a while back and the colors matched so voilà, a old necklace is made new.


Red Heart on Leather Cord Necklace

I have a tendency to buy things and then not know what to do with them. This heart is one example of that. I always thought that adding it to a necklace with other beads would take away from the look but then wasn't sure what else I could do with it. Thus, some leather cord was purchased and the problem was solved!


Blue and Silver Moon/Sun Necklace

I purchased these blue beads with someone in mind, but then made them something else. Irony is the fact hat when I finally got around to using them, I managed to put together two things that they like (moons and the color blue). I guess that might be what you would call a sign? Haha.

Blue and Wood Beaded Lariat Necklace

I'm still not sure how I feel about this necklace. It does have potential though.

Wooden Bead Necklace

I hate how large beads wobble when they're threaded on tigertail, so these are on more of the leather cord.

Iridescent bead necklace

Simple, yet beautiful!

But here's what I sent..

Spiral stitch set with a necklace and bracelet.

I totally think I'm in a rut jewelry wise (I keep making the same things over and over) but how can you argue with something that comes out looking as awesome as this!? The toggles and loops on the ends are peyote stitch.

Pumpkin earrings to (kinda) match the above.


Wire linked set of earrings, bracelet and necklace.

The picture doesn't do the beads justice, but they're tan/brown and black.

Fleur-de-lis necklace.

This was a non-fall item, she mentioned that she wore a lot of black and then I saw a item on her wist with a fleur-de-lis on it, so thus the necklace.

And I also decorated some cards with felt for the season:


Some holiday/fall teas and greenies for her dog.


And lastly.. I found this cute book in a thrift store, the big orange leaf follows the boy around and when he goes to a wizard to get rid of it, it turns into the dog he's been wishing for.
