1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Sequin Question on: March 28, 2008 10:43:53 PM
I've seen tutorials on this site for making sequins out of different types of plastic and I'd really like to give a go at it. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a simple "sequin punch"? I've googled of course but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I'd really prefer not using a regular hole punch to make a gamillion sequins, then put a hole in each one, then finally sew each one on....

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smiley
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Stroller Blanket on: March 27, 2008 10:39:15 AM
I'm still relatively new to Craftster (love love love it!) but here is my first knitting post!  I made this over a weekend as a means to avoid pesky visiting-from-out-of-town-family.  The pictures aren't that great but I used a graduated square pattern, little squares at the ends building into larger middle squares.  The yarn isn't very soft but it is perfect for tucking a bundled kid into a stroller for a walk.

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Prom Necklace on: March 24, 2008 04:28:16 PM
A necklace and bracelet for my sister to wear to prom.  I made this from a tutorial at Robyn's Bead Page (www.geocities.com/robynl_4/).  I modified the pattern slightly to include some seed beads in between every bead but you have to zoom in pretty far to see them.  The bracelet is a large round necklace (a backup in case she gets too wild on the dance floor) and wraps around the wrist.

4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Graduation Cords on: December 12, 2007 01:48:02 PM
I have a ridiculous amount of graduation cords from high school and college (at least 10 in colors that are predominantly yellow, red, and white). I don't want to throw them out but I'm not sure how to reuse them.  Any ideas?
