3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: HUMONGO Domo-kun on: January 15, 2008 02:46:08 PM
Aww, thanks for the comments. Domo-kun ate up 2 bags of standard poly-fil stuffing, and he was packed rather loosely in my opinion, hungry domo-kun.

I love all things Japanese, including nonsense plushies and whatnot. So when my friend offered me a whopping $65 for a Domo-kun, I just HAD to. It's up to my hips, and is wider than my body, and 9 inches thick. Quite the plushie!

In addition, i made a fabric ball with some fabric scraps, and received some extra credit in my clothing class! I found the pattern at craftzine.com.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: read or die! Skateboard shelves on: January 12, 2008 10:30:03 PM
Wow, what an original and crafty idea! I might just jump onto this and try this for myself with other shelf utensils =]

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Christmas Knitting! on: December 30, 2007 10:21:59 PM
Okay, i have to ask, even though i might get hurt with needles. Is there a way to do this beautiful cable knit with a crochet pattern? by the way, that is some beautiful cable work!
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Sweater + man shirt = new fall jacket - spilling out photos on: December 07, 2007 09:47:38 PM
i like the combo of the colors and the plaid, oh so stylish. so would you make a tutorial for this? because if you did i would like to try and make one =]
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / paper tulip boquet, since all my REAL flowers died =[ on: December 05, 2007 11:52:17 PM
so im fed up with seeing my flowers die in the winter. not hibernate, but die. i need to learn how to be a good gardener. anyways, i thought my room looked plain without flowers, so i got my origami paper, and voila! paper 3-d tulips =]

i hate how my old camera makes the flowers look so... boring and not flashy like they are in real life.

now if only they smelled beautiful...
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / my first tote bag, and clutch purses/wallets on: December 05, 2007 11:41:44 PM
so i made the tote bag as an extra credit project in my clothing class. the fabric on the outside is a plaid gray w/ orange trim, and the lining is a thin orange. there are 2 pockets in the front, and buttons for decoration. the pics look so gritty, darn you old camera. it looks better in real life, promise!

dont mind all my school stuff. sigh.

and these are the clutches

oh, i love the floral lining, too bad its not really visible.

and a matching pencil pouch since my old rubber one was looking gross

i love plaid and buttons, can you tell?
