1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Easy Shawl -- Quick too =P on: September 07, 2004 04:26:49 PM
Hey everyone. Not many new posts around here lately, I guess everyone's been busy crocheting =P Well, this is a shawl that I just finished today. It took barely two scanes of yarn to make, and I worked off and on for 2 and a half days on it. Its a very simple pattern--kind of like the granny square--I got it from the other crochet forum, but I'll repost the pattern here if anyone wants it. Alright, enuff talk--here's the shawl:

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Patterns..sweaters on: August 28, 2004 02:07:20 PM
Does anyone know of any easy patterns (for intermediate or beginner) for a male's sweater? I've seen the fisherman's one floating around the internet, but I was looking for another one. Anyone wanna share?

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / what does this meannn?? on: August 27, 2004 04:52:59 PM
its really confusing me..I think I understand how I do it, and I'll probably do what I've already thought to do before anyone really replies to this...but for future reference, what am I really suipposed to do?

"Ch 1, sc across, dec (16, 12, Cool sts eenly sp across, turn. (42, 46, 50 sts.)"

What is the thing in "( )" for. I'm just confused. I'm thinking on that number of stitches (the 16th, 12th, 8th..and so on mentioned) are the ones you decrease in, but .. i duno..lol.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Color Dying Doilies... on: August 27, 2004 10:01:20 AM
I was looking at some patterns for some doilies and a thought came across my mind. The doillies that have the piece of linen in the middle..and then the pattern worked all around it...would it be possible, after all the crocheting is done, to dye it? Kind of like how you would tie dye t-shirts a long time ago. Would it work to tie dye doilies? o.oa
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / New Here..Things I've Crocheted..=) Potholders, shawl, bag, scarf, and more! on: August 23, 2004 11:33:26 AM
Hey everyone. I'm new here to craftster, so I thought my first post here should be the completed things I've made. These are just a few of the things I've made...most made by my own patterns or just quick and easy patterns..Well, here they are! ^^

This shawl I made for my mom (very easy pattern) ^^

This shawl I made myself ^^ Gotta love blue.

A few potholders I made.

Two hotpads...blue again =D

Simple girls purse I made for a friend.

A simple scarf I made for my friend.

And here are the first two doliies I have ever made!! The first one is about 6" and the other one is around 8".

Probably nothing too impressive, as I am still technically a beginner, but I hope you liked them!
