Here's a very easy poncho pattern ^_^

Step 1: Chain 90 and then join with the first chain to make a slip stitch.
Step 2: Chain 4 and then double crochet in the forth chain from hook.
Step 3: Chain 4 and then skip three chains and double crochet in the 4th chain.
Step 4: Keep repeating 3rd step all around. When you go completely around, keep doing the 3rd step, but do your double crochet into the loop above it.

Just keep doing that all around until you get it to the length you want. When you finish, add fringe all around, if you want.

I hope thats simple enough.

Man, I must have searched the whole web for a nice mens sweater pattern. I thought the fisherman's sweater wasn't that bad, but my bf didn't like it. lol. He said he'd wait on that one until he was an old man. =P Oh well, thanks for your help guys.

lol. well, I showed him the pattern and the picture of the sweater before I made it---and he said he liked it. I had showed him others too--and that was the only one he liked. It was a big project, took me around 3 weeks I think---and he was kind of excited about it. Not many people take time to make things, and he really appreciated it. I wouldn't mind that much if he did choose not to wear it-- it was the first sweater I've ever made, lol.

I duno, I felt like defending myself >.< lol. I think the curse won't apply for me.
