172  Re: The MySpace/Facebook Stalker Swap (Round 2) Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by imafundork on: August 15, 2008 07:44:52 AM
So I totally received from our fabulous organizer, caffeinatedair, nearly two weeks ago and haven't had the time to post pictures until now.  I have dialup at home and it takes an eternity to upload pics.  My new car is getting tinted windows this morning, so I'm just hanging out at the dealership, taking FULL advantage of free wireless!  Grin

She did a great job stalking and made me this wonderful necklace off of my wist.  I LOVE it!!!!

The rest of the goods: A cute green bracelet, an awesome Batik headband (I'm totally diggin' batiks right now.), incredible magazine flower prints that are dying to be framed and hung on my bare bedroom walls and a cute (store bought) green, sparkly star-y notebook.  Green is my favorite color, I love stars and carry a small notebook everywhere I go (otherwise I'd never remember anything).

A close up of one of the prints:

Thank you caffeinatedair for my amazing package and organizing this swap!  Grin

I received some more squares.  The top ones are from CraftyDiane and the bottom ones are from CreativeGenes.

Thank you ladies!  My squares from Aspenwall are in Onegroovyday's possession so I haven't seen them yet!

I received from Crazy Wazy over the weekend and she did a fabulous job.  I love my package!

A cute little crocheted pouch, two pairs of earrings, five fun felt pins, stitch markers and a restaurant menu.  I collect menus and now I have one from California!  Woohoo!

LOTS of yummy candy!  Although, I had decided last week that I need to cut down on my sugar intake...maybe once this is all gone! hehe

An embroidery kit.  I've been dying to learn how to embroider and Crazy Wazy is making it possible! Smiley

A super cute HAND STITCHED brown and blue bag that hasn't left my side since Sunday!

Crazy Wazy, thank you so much!  I really do love it all!

I received from BertaBerta today! I should have pics up tomorrow. Smiley

EDIT:  Sorry, it took so long to get the picture up.  I've been crazy busy this past week. I love it all, it will work perfectly for a quilt I'm planning and its not fabric I would normally purchase myself.

Thanks BertaBerta!

177  Re: Jar of Mini Whimsies Round 2 Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by imafundork on: July 09, 2008 10:23:01 AM
Sorry about the delay on posting pictures of the FABULOUS jar jenicat sent me.  But here they are!

First, the bottom of the jar.  She had flat whimsies all around the sides so I couldn't peek in...sneaky sneaky. Wink

Next the jar itself.

The whole lot of it!  There were tons of things.  She stalked me well!

Buttons/Pins!  YAY!

The Birdie from my Wist!  You rock, Jeni!

Turtles and more birds.  Also, from my Wist!

Fabric Scraps.

Beads. And Chiclets...awesome.

Leonardo DiCaprio!  AMAZING...hahahah

And a Gnome!

OMG, Jeni!!  This seriously was so great!  It's been 2 days and it's all still displayed on my cutting mat because I have to show my sister and she couldn't come over until tonight! She's going to be sooo jealous!  I love it all!  I'm not sure I could pick a favorite (maybe the felt birdie). Oh and I'm wearing the turtle earrings now.  Everyone at work loves them!

Thanks again!!!  And thank you Mamaphunk for organizing.  I'm definitely up for a round three!

Okay here are the pics of my package from Pokerin.  Please excuse the poor photo quality as it is midnight and I worked over 14 hours today.  I am tired!  (Also, the reason why there are no action shots!)

Group Shot (minus the dress): Necklace, wallet, pin cushion, notecards

And my FAVORITE: the necklace made with computer keys

Thanks Pokerin!  And thanks to Sevsonlygirl for organizing!  This was my first swap and I'm now addicted!

180  Red and Blue Pirate-y Quilt for my nephew (My first) in Quilting: Completed Projects by imafundork on: June 22, 2008 05:25:13 PM
I made this back in March for my nephew's second birthday, but never got around to posting pictures.  It's a crazy quilt made with five different flannel fabrics.  The back is a solid red fleece. It's my first quilt ever and I'm happy with it.  I didn't use any batting since it's flannel and fleece, so it was pretty simple piecing it together.

A close up of some of the patterns and Craig's name.

Comments/Criticisms appreciated. Smiley
