11  Re: Blythe/ Pullip Autumn Celebration (signups thru Sept. 16; sendouts Oct. 17) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by imafundork on: September 30, 2011 07:46:01 PM
I picked up a couple of the Blythe loves Littlest Pet Shop dolls. They're so cute. Does any have petit sized Blythe patterns?

There are some patterns on Ravelry if you knit.

Speaking of Petites...look what I scored today for $5 at a thrift shop!

It's just the house- no furniture, animals or gnomes.  But it is the perfect size for Petites. I can wait to get it set up.  I have some furniture I can use, but will need to make/buy more. Looks like I found a new project, since I just finished my 365!

Now that I submitted my questionaire, I'm going to share some pictures!

Here's Hazel last fall in CT.  Hazel is my 365 girl.  We started on Oct 1, 2010 and will finish on Sept. 30, 2011.  I haven't missed a day yet!  I also have four other Blythes.

My Taeyang, Graham.  He doesn't get much attention.  I broke his foot last year and still haven't fixed it....

My Dal, Ingrid.  She also hasn't gotten much attention.  I've been so focused on finishing Hazel's 365 that I don't take many pictures of the others anymore.

I have two weeks left of the 365, so I think the other six dolls will start receiving more camera time then!

I received today from That1girl!

She sent me a Michigan tee and pennant.

Potato chips made in MI, water bottle, shot glass, baseball eraser, pins, local radio sticker, chocolate and a local festival flyer.

Two Ysolda knitting patterns.

And the AMAZING crafted item- a knit Michigan sweater for my Blythe doll!

14  faux bois wedding gift in Needlework: Completed Projects by imafundork on: July 02, 2011 06:50:49 PM
I stitched this hoop for my college roommate and her fiance.  They are getting married at the end of the month.  The hoop is 4" and the design was drawn freehand.

I used their wedding invitation to finish off the back of the hoop.

Agreed!  Grin

Pjherbert, I want to touch your hoop! I love the textures and color. Cheesy

It is very 3D and I do LOVE it!

17  Re: Jar of Whimsies Round 9 Gallery! in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by imafundork on: June 02, 2011 07:02:59 PM
As promised, here are pictures of the packaged I received from CamOovas.

The jar and a few things that wouldn't fit.

The contents of the jar.

The crafted items...

Thumbtacks

Pendants

Clay Items- Keep in mind I took these pictures on a 1 inch grid cutting mat.  CamOovas is a highly skilled clay artist!  These things are TINY!

Fruit, buttons and sushi

Lamp (Unfortunately, this broke in transit, so I have to fix it still.)

Bones (the animals weren't crafted)

Teranium/Mushroom Garden

Cheese Wheel

Bread and Butter

Thank you, CamOovas!  You definitely went above and beyond on the crafted items!  I love it all so much! Smiley

Let me tell you how incredibly spoiled I've been by A2K!  Seriously, I can not get over it!  We agreed to do all ten categories, but she way surpassed even that! I love every last thing she sent.  Smiley

Something vintage- a purse using vintage buttons and houndstooth.  It's almost an exact replica from one on my wist/pinterest!

Something green- paper piecing hexagons and doll clothes patterns.  Two of my most favorite things are hexies and Blythe dolls. Smiley

Something tiny- vintage thimble in an adorable pouch

Something local- A birch and snow dyed fabric (by ptarmic wumpus) pincushion.  How creative and original is this?!  (Also, I want to research snow dyed fabric.  That sounds really cool!)

Something cozy- A "Florida" quilt made from vintage sheets (At least, that's what I think...correct me if I'm wrong, A2K!)  I think this may be my favorite.  Although, I do love the purse. A lot!

Something bumpy- A bobbin holder!  Sooooo excited about this!  I've wanted one since I first saw Onegroovyday's a few years ago.

Something lucky-  A "horseshoe" filled with embroidery floss!  I love A2K's creative interpretation of this one!

Something sharp- Quilting pins and embroidery needles in an altered Altoids tins.

Letter "M"- Fabric Marmalade with hexagon compote. HA!  The fabric bits will be perfect for hexies and Blythe clothes. Smiley

Sender's choice- Two awesome books and lots of fabric.

The book mark says, "To attract good fortune, spend a new penny on an old friend, share an old pleasure with a new friend and lift up the heart of a true friend by writing her name on the wings of a dragon." -Chinese Proverb

My new friend, A2K is amazing!  Thank you so much!  You were a fabulous partner.  Grin

I received my hoop from pjherbert on Tuesday and it is sooo beautiful and perfect and I just love it!  Grin  She went with my doodle stitching theme, but hid something within the design- my new(ish) tattoo! It's just amazing!  Anyway, on to the pictures. Smiley

A close up of my "Rooted in Hope" seedling.

And for fun...the tattoo that inspired it.
