1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Maxine doesn't make snowmen... on: March 16, 2013 05:32:30 PM
This is a hoop I stitched up for my mother. She loves Maxine cartoons so that's what I chose as my theme.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Celtic Tree on: June 05, 2011 03:37:05 PM
This is the celtic tree I sent Peihan17 in Hoopla Rd 5. I had alot of fun with this pattern. I began by outlining and then filling in the areas, then topped it all of with satin stitch. It took forever, but I really like how it turned out and it was recieved well. Thanks Peihan!

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Transferring complicated patterns on: June 05, 2011 11:12:58 AM
I have several ways of transferring simple patterns that have worked for me. I am currently looking at some sketches that I want to embroider, but they are rather detailed and I don't think tracing is a good way to get them on the fabric. What would be my best bet on getting it onto the fabric?
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Another Hoopla Swap on: May 22, 2011 10:37:58 PM
I am just finishing up the Color Hoopla Swap and really want to start another hoop! I am willing to organize(just have to investigate the process first, I am here several times a day so it shouldn't be a problem), I just don't know what the topic should be. Anyone interested in another hoopla? If so....what would you like the theme to be?
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Swap participation when organizing on: April 24, 2010 03:20:03 PM
Do you have to actively swap with someone if you are organizing a swap? Can you organize one without sending or recieving a package?
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Another Theme Swap? on: January 23, 2010 04:47:34 PM
I am thinking about organizing a swap as I dont see any I currently want to participate in. I had tons of fun with the last Theme swap I did. Another swap I really enjoyed was the book/tote swap where you send your partner a book you really like and make them a tote to go with. Anybody interested?
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / MACRO: Golden Wonder Killifish on: May 11, 2008 08:36:06 AM
This is a picture of a male Golden Wonder Killifish that was in my 10 gallon tank. He was only about 2.5 inches. This is an unedited photo.

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Stepmoms Gift on: January 20, 2008 11:18:37 PM
A Pretty little purse/tote. I did not do the embroidery. The fabric was purchased that way.

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / "Paws"...My First Sock Monkey on: January 20, 2008 10:51:09 PM
The socks I used had a bear face on them. Paws was not intended to have "boobs". Oh well... now I know to steer clear of socks with pictures on them Wink

10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Hot Cocoa Powder on: January 14, 2008 09:21:57 PM
My mom always sends me cans of cocoa. Problem is that I never drink it. Is there anything crafty I can use it for? Perhaps putting it inside something to make it chocolatey smelling?
