12  Celtic Tree in Needlework: Completed Projects by DaisyTattoo on: June 05, 2011 03:37:05 PM
This is the celtic tree I sent Peihan17 in Hoopla Rd 5. I had alot of fun with this pattern. I began by outlining and then filling in the areas, then topped it all of with satin stitch. It took forever, but I really like how it turned out and it was recieved well. Thanks Peihan!

Great hoops everyone! I recieved from Peihan today and am posting pics! I was incredibly hard to get the half decent pics I got since the thread is so light. But it looks AMAZING in person. It really is perfect. And the stitches are so small!

I got home from work today and found a wonderful package on my porch!!! And what was inside you ask?

First is this cute little scrabble tile charm

Then she sent a notebook for each of my children...I want to start writing letters to each of them individually. These are perfect!

Then...personalized shot glasses etched with daisies!

Then I found a bag...with a bag inside...with a tampon holder inside...with a tissue holder inside of that!!! FANTASTIC!

And here is a group shot including the truffles she sent..but minus the skittles...the family gobbled them up before I could even finish taking the photos!

And who was the lovely crafter of this package you ask? None other than preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '.......DRUMROLL.....................................................')

AVERIA!!! Thank you girl! Your sewing skills ROCK! You totally spoiled me Smiley Thanks for doing such a great job stalking me!

16  Re: Crafty Detective Rd. 7 (signups Jan. 31 - Feb. 14, 2011; sendouts Apr. 14, 2011) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by DaisyTattoo on: February 28, 2011 10:39:55 AM
Style? I have none. And when I say none...I seriously mean NONE. I have like 2 t-shirts that really fit well and I like. And that's about it. I am having a style crisis right now. Everytime I try on clothes I turn into a bawling idiot bc I don't like how clothes look on me and I don't know how to dress myself to look good. I really need "What Not to Wear". As a result, I usually end up in one of my 2 cool shirts...or a number of my really uncool/ill fitting ones and a pair of jeans that have seen better days.

Honeyd...you wanted to see what everyone looks like....well, I can't show you them, but I can show you me  Cheesy

17  Re: Inchie My Theme Swap in The Swap Gallery by DaisyTattoo on: August 06, 2010 02:41:41 PM
I just recieved from Beckashell! And she did a great job! First she did my romance is theme, my favorite are the 2 with the bette midler lyrics

And then she did my trees and fish themes. So cute! My favorite is the one with the little fish that says "everything for your fish".

Thanks Beckashell! I love them and I loved the envelope you sent them in, for some reason it reminded me of my pen pal days in grammar school. Smiley

My fantastic inchies from efirechild.

This kiss cracks me up!

Love the tree. Looks like an old picture. Also the one on the bottom is real leaves. Very interesting.

And closeups of my 2 favorites. The goldfish...

And the Manx. It says Isle of Man on the bottom which is where the Manx originated. Love it!
