91  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Child's scarf! on: November 14, 2007 09:15:34 PM
This is a scarf that I knitted for my youngest daughter for Christmas.  She can never decide between orange or pink for her favorite color - so, I figured this yarn was perfect for her!

I knitted this entire scarf sitting in Starbuck's last night - I'm pretty sure that people thought that I was nuts - but, who cares .... ONE MORE CHRISTMAS PRESENT DOWN!!!!  Grin

Since everyone is used to getting a new scarf from me for Christmas - I'm happy to have at least one behind me for the season!

92  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cute little beret... on: November 14, 2007 08:07:48 PM
Tonight, I decided to try my hand at making a hat for my daughter.  This is my first hat - and, true to myself - I did not use a pattern.  Luckily - even without a pattern - it worked out.  I'm going to have to go back and try to write down what I did - as I'm sure that my older daughter is going to want one as well.

I realize that it would be much more cute if I were showing it on my daughter - but, I didn't think that I should wake her up just for a picture  Roll Eyes  I wanted to - I thought about it - and, I admit that I fit in on her sleeping head, just to confirm that it fit  Shocked  But, I didn't wake her for a full on photo shoot.

Luckily, her bear stood in for her!

I'd love to know what you think!

93  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Crochet and felted purses/bags on: November 11, 2007 10:08:02 PM
Hi - I'm new here.  But thought that, in addition to my lurking and oohhing and aahhing over all the projects here - I'd share one of mine.

I've made a couple of bags for my daughters.  This picture shows one that is felted and one that has yet to be felted (just to show the difference pre/post felting).

The second is a clutch bag that I made for myself.

Since I've not yet posted 10 posts, I'm providing links to my pics!  Hope it works, as I'm linking to my blog. - Adding pictures now!

I'd love to hear your thoughts/comments!!

Thanks for looking!!
