2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New iPad sleeve on: April 03, 2012 09:08:33 PM
Today, I dropped my iPad on concrete.... OUCH!!!!  Even with a case, it still chipped the screen and left nasty marks on one corner.  I didn't cry... but, I sure did want to!!!

So, I decided that I needed a new iPad sleeve (yes, I had one already at home, but I decided I didn't 'like' it - so wasn't using it ... stupid me!).

Anyway - this one is so cute that I'm sure I'll use it!!

Comments welcome!
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Monogrammed 'stuff' pouch on: January 19, 2012 07:48:13 PM
I have way too many bags, and even more 'too many' pouches ... but, still, I continue to make them ... b/c - well, you can always find 'stuff' to put in them... lol

This one is made with home dec fabric and I did a freezer paper stencil for a monogram that I drew.

Sorry for the horrible phone pictures... Too lazy too get the 'real' camera right now ... lol
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Leather ring? Why, yes! on: January 19, 2012 07:38:53 PM
I was making some leather cuffs for my daughter, and had a few scraps left over and decided to make a cute ring.  And, honestly, I love, love, love it!  I'm sure that I will make more... with different embellishments.

What do you think??  Sorry for the horrible 'phone pics'... too lazy to get the 'real' camera... ha

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Makeup Bag / Pouch on: January 07, 2012 03:43:11 PM
I made a new makeup bag.  I can't stand having smaller items rolling around in my purse, so I tend to carry a purse full of pouches... lol

Anyway - here it is:

Don't you just love this fabric:

I used a bit of fleece just to give it a bit more stability.

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My New Wallet on: January 02, 2012 07:54:46 PM
I bought some gorgeous gray wool the other day and decided I would make myself a wallet... And, here it is ... Smiley

Comments welcome!!

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New kindle case for my daughter on: December 31, 2011 08:16:22 PM
I made a kindle case for my daughter (she designed it... chose the fabrics, etc.).  She (hgfoster, she just joined craftster... little craftster that she is Smiley  ) loves it...

Obviously, she needs to charge her Kindle ;-)
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Another Kindle Fire sleeve / case... on: December 29, 2011 07:36:51 PM
So, after making one for my sister in law, I have made one for me.  I made it very similar to hers, except - I put a pocket on the back.  I should have measured a little better - because it is a tight fit... but, I'm sure it will stretch some.  If not, it fits my daughter's Kindle e-reader (hers is the keyboard version), so I'll just give it to her.

Comments appreciated!  Thanks!!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Kindle Fire Sleeve / Cozy / Case... whatever ;-) on: December 28, 2011 04:39:05 PM
I haven't posted in FOREVER... but, since I've made something new, I thought that I would.

Both myself and my sister in law got Kindle Fires for Christmas.  I've made this sleeve for her...  Lots of pics... As always - comments, etc. welcome!!

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New tea bag wallet on: December 04, 2008 12:23:23 PM
I made one earlier (to make sure I had the appropriate dimensions) and now I've made the first of the ones for Christmas presents!!!

I love the fabrics in this one... and, I love how it turned out.  I think that, paired with a coffee cup cozy/sleeve, it will make a nice gift!

The ribbon is actually a nice orange-y color that matches the flower ... not sure what happened to the color in these pics!

C&C welcome!
