231  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: New (happyfrog) slotted wallets & my first purse on: January 01, 2008 09:28:53 AM
I don't know how this one slipped by me.  These are adorable!

So tell us how they went over at Christmas.
I'll bet people went a little nuts over them.
They are so nice & practical.

OK - So what fabric did you use?  It looks like a satin.
Was it a flannel backed satin?  Inquiring minds want to know.

All I can say is "Oh My Gosh, Whata job you have done"!!!

The purses are beautiful and the fabrics are gorgeous.  But what I think is most amazing is working with this slick, shinny fabric and making those zippers and seams look so perfect.

I hope you post more pictures of your work.  You are inspiring.
Please remember to tell us what kind of fabric you used on these purses.

Lovely!

You must come back and tell us about her reaction when you give it to her.  I'll bet she will be thrilled.  Your workmanship (workwomanship) appears to be of the highest quality.

Did you design this yourself or use a pattern?  I like the way the flap lays on the bag.

Version 2 gets my vote.
It looks like it walked out of a designer showroom.

Fantastic & Awesome are just a couple words to describe Version 2.

Your MIL will Love it !!
And...if she does not -
then send it to me because I love it.

I love the color, the flower perfectly positioned on the bag, the pockets, the lining color  - I love it all.

You did a great job with your quilting.  I've been thinking about giving quilting for small project a try and you are inspiring me :-)

You are to be commended for your effot and contribution.  That is amazing - you are amazing. And, you are a huge asset to your organization.

Your picture shows a lot about you.  Your display is great ! Everything is so organized and all the color pulls the shoppers to your table.  I'm not surprised you did so well and earned so much money for your organization.

You have a talent.  You found it and you put it to good use for the benefit of others.
