2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: World of Warcraft amigurumimimirumi on: May 18, 2008 12:51:24 PM
Ack so cool. I'd better not tell my guild about this or they'll be asking me to make them their toons. I have to say it though, wish this was a Tauren *For the Horde!* Other than a slight difference in opinion on Faction choice... this totally rocks! In all seriousness you've done a great job, I'm totally inspired Cheesy
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fat Bottom Bag question on: May 13, 2008 08:39:41 AM
You're correct, you do crochet along the side of the purse - that is, the edge of your rows as opposed to the short starting and ending points. The pattern calls for sc2tog at this point (the handle flap section) which makes the gather of the purse and its signature fat bottomed shape. Just trust in the pattern, I know it seems weird but it will start to look right once you do the gathering in the handle flaps. Hope that helps:)

That looks fabulous Stitcheees! I can't wait to get mine done now. I love the colour!

I was so ready to post a pic of the bodice and one sleeve but my card is just not working in my computer. I'll tinker and get it up soon. In the mean time I'm almost done the first sleeve. Been a crazy week with school ending, work and friends having a baby so I'm lucky I've finished as much as I have!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Hourglass Jacket (Broomstick Lace) on: April 28, 2008 10:35:41 AM
Beautiful jacket! the colour is fantastic. Thanks for the pattern link, I've only ever used broomstick lace for a scarf, it'd be fun to try a garment.

I had my bodice all ready, just had one more seam to sew together and i decided to add a couple rows under the arms. After that I'll post a pic today of the bodice and start on the skirt  Smiley
9  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: birdie pin help on: April 24, 2008 04:12:24 PM
I haven't made this pattern, but maybe if you explain which rows or parts of the instructions are giving you trouble someone might be able to help you Smiley
