1  2 Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by littlemuffler on: April 30, 2008 05:58:54 PM
Here are 2 bags I made a couple months ago

This one is vinyl and fake wool
It's fully lined with inside pockets

This one is the vinyl on the outside, lined with black cotton printed with cherries.
There are two snaps on each side and one in the middle to help hold it closed

outside (oh yeah, I paintd the snap red to match)

2  Flowery Pin-up style summer dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by littlemuffler on: April 30, 2008 05:53:18 PM
This dress is made out of upholstery fabric that I found at Walmart for like $2 a yard. I loved it so much I bought up all they had (about 3 yards)
As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be a dress.

I made this dress from scratch. I suck at patterns!
This has my first attempt at a contoured bust and an invisible zipper (unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the zipper)
It also has a drop waist and a small pleat at the front of the skirt.
I put in a few darts so it fits like a glove

4  Copy of an AA dress ** more pics added in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by littlemuffler on: February 06, 2008 06:30:04 AM
I basically copied an AA dress, but since I didn't have any jersey to use for it, I made it out of flannel. Oh yeah, and the pockets aren't finished yet.

This is the 1st project I've posted here.

Let me know what you think!
