twisted, I would like to receive either a knitted/crocheted/sewn stuffed animal.  I'm best at making sewn stuffed/plush animals.

awesome Smiley I have never made sewn stuffed/plush ones. I have made crocheted things but knitted is not much harder.

I am debating joining this one... I will have to think about it... I can knit, crochet, cross stitch, embroider... What do people generally want made?

So excited. I have a rough idea of what I am doing for both of my partners. Need to sketch one idea up and see if it will translate from my head to fabric the right way. I won't get a chance to do much till this weekend. I just joined Big Brothers Big Sisters, and my "little" is out of school and wants to do stuff everyday! Wohoo she is wiping me outttt. I am so tired! So excited for this swap though!!! Cheesy

Okay everyone! Weekly Wednesday Knitting/Fiber group will be held at the Tim Hortons on Peach Street, near Taco Bell and Perkins at 6:30pm. Location may end up changing depending on how we like it there, and if anyone else has suggestions. Will keep feed updated. Hope to see some of ya'll there!

awesome! I'll pass that along to my friends. I'd like to try to come. Smiley

CHANGE OF PLANS. Barnes and Noble won't let me have the group there because it is not part of their mission statement. It will be either at Panera Bread on Peach, the Library, or Tim Hortons on Peach the one near Perkins. As soon as I know I will update here. I posted over on Ravelry and a few people are interested in coming also! Smiley

30  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Okay this is not a knitting project but... on: June 25, 2013 08:56:00 PM
I ran across this webpage while looking online how to make your own yarn swift... I don't know why I never thought of this before!!!

It made me so happy, and my DH that we are starting to save for it now. And I just had to tell all you wonderful craftsters!  I plan on buying a big piece of pegboard and hanging it above a window(we live in the attic so the windows are low to the ground) and treating it almost as a work of art!!!
