This is a little flip book she made me with my kids names, and road trip ect
and my favorite think a pink skeleton note card holder with note cards with a pin-up girl on the corner. I love it
and I asked for an original piece of art that I could display in this is what she made me I think she did a great job, and can not wait to hang it up.
She also wrote me a cute not with wozards hats on the paper I love harry potter, and she gave me some scrap book supplies, and note cards to get me motivated to get back into scrapbooking. The camera died so I could not get pics of those sorry. i am very happy with everything i got
So I have done some cross stitch when iwas younger more than 1o yrs ago. I got this idea for my sister in laws wedding gift when I saw the pillow I wanted to buy her was like $40. So I thought hey this is even better one of a kind right, lol. I took the hearts from her invitation and scanned them into my computer used a font to match her text and this is what I got,not to happy with the hearts not sure if I knew what I was doing but I love the text, I think I am going to start embroidering more of my sewing projects. I do have to sew the pillow but could not wait to post it. Also the fabric matches my dress(I am a a brides maid!) Please let me know what you all think I am so new to this and want any tips you have:)
so I have been making purses for about 3 months now, and I decided to tackle applique! I have no idea if I did it right kinda just winged it but I am deffinately happy with the out come!
I couldn't find it at first but here is the link to the tut I used http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=131046.20 so I used this tut from nappyolme, for the purse I modified it a little by changing the dimensions. I loved her purse so I thought I would give it a try very easy directions!
