Original thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=419892.0#axzz2S59WghHo

An angel is needed for the 10th Kingdom swap. It's a 5 point swap based on the mini series.
The recipient is in Canada.

Some helpful Info about the recipient:

Favourite characters:

Do you have a favourite scene:
The love town and the sheep contest and the swamp scene where they fall asleep and the long hair in the forest.

Favourite or memorable quotes:

wolf "No, no! "Rare" implies dangerously cooked. When I say rare I mean just let it look at the oven in terror, then bring it out to me. "

Singing Ring: [singing] You cannot win her / You cannot choose her / You are just a hopeless loser!

Tony: What is it with you people? What kind of twisted upbringing did you have? You know, why can't you just say, 'Oh, that'll be 100 gold coins'? Why does it always have to be, 'No! Not unless you lay a magic egg, or count the hairs on that giant's ass!'?

Tony: All right, all right. Wait, wait! I have a question! What is the point in having a door that has a horrible death behind it? Huh?
[picks up frog]
Frog: Get your hands off me!
Tony: What does that achieve?
Frog: What are you doing?
Tony: I mean, what is the purpose of your life? Just to be a pain?
Frog: Don't touch me there, only my girlfriend touches me there!
[Tony throws the frog through one of the doors]
Frog: WHOA!
[Tony slams the door, there's a large explosion and fireball]
Wolf: I guess it's the other one.

Acorn: You may find what you seek down there.
Virginia: What do you mean?
Acorn: I don't know. I always wanted to say that.

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Mail Art on: May 24, 2011 12:48:17 AM
I created these pieces as part of a swap whereby we were asked to art up an envelope and send some art in it.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Paper doll Swap on: November 23, 2010 11:54:04 PM
Remember playing with paper dolls when you were little? How much fun it was to dress them up.
I'm suggesting a grown up paper doll swap. Imagine a paper doll that uses textured paper for that cool dress, or unique colouring media for that kickin' blouse. Just think about getting a doll with a few (or more) outfits that really reflect your tastes. And who says your doll can't be a fairy, or an elf, or whatever else you might desire.
Anyone interested?
6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Tarot cards on: April 09, 2010 03:29:12 AM
Ok if this is Knickertwist look away....seriously no peeking.

These are the cards I made for the Craft a tarot card swap.

7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / I've never made that Swap on: December 18, 2008 07:01:49 PM
A swap where you exchange items crafted by you that you had previously never crafted before.
Example: I've never crafted a quilt and CraftsterX has never made a quilt, for this swap we'd each make each other something quilted: say a lap quilt.
Anybody interested in a swap like this, either participating or organizing?

9  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / The Crystalline on: January 27, 2008 10:12:11 PM
So this is my first post with a project that I made. I made this beautiful piece some time ago. I called it "The Crystalline" I wrote a short story type thing to go with it which I have included here. So without further ado, The Crystalline...

And the detail shoots

The crystalline dragon flew westward as the night settled into pale lavender. The moon hung low in the sky its silvery light casting a faint glow over the land below. Ahead was a stone castle; the dragon had lain there for a number of years. It erupted from the mountainside hewn from the very stones of the earth. Humans had made it, and then abandoned it years later. But there were no years for the crystalline dragon, only moments that passed in ambiguity. The day had been a good one, the hunting had gone well and a fight with a roc had gotten the dragons blood pumping. Not a scratched marred the crystalline. Giant wings of soft blue glided and caught an updraft swifting the dragon to the stone castle. The light orange body drifted though a gaping hole in the back of the structure. Tonight there would be rest and warmth from the stones, tomorrow lay just on the horizon. But for the dragon there was a loneliness that came in the dark chill of night. Gone were the crystallines kin, long years had passed since dragons ruled the earth. But there was once harmony with nature, and dragons lived long days in the sun, each crystalline and beautiful. The solitary crystalline was all that was left of a legacy. These dragon kin were proud race, honourable and noble in their ways. The crystalline shed a single tear from a green eye and slept.
The morning dawned crisp and clear and a soft mewling awoke the crystalline. On the stone floor were the single tear had fallen two tiny twin baby dragons lay, both magnificent and perfect. The crystalline, was overwhelmed with joy and shed a thousand tears of joy. Each tear became a dragon and each dragon was beautiful. The crystalline, knowing that dragons would now again roam the world sent each baby into the world. Exhausted and at peace the crystalline laid down to sleep the last sleep. The first-born dragon twins returned and curled around the crystalline as it passed from this world to the next. From that moment on the stone castle became a sanctuary for all dragon kind, where dragons got their second chance, and where a single crystalline lay enshrined forever, the creator of a race, once again proud and noble.
