I mentioned I was making a Hermione hat for my mom. I have removed the zig-zag and bobbles and added Mickey Mouses. My mom does like Mickey. Anyway, here it is, the finished hat for my mom.

Disclaimer: Yes, it has Mickey on it. My mom likes Mickey. But you can ignore that and check out the cabling and knitting. It is a fine hat though.

Here it is. I finished the afghan I was making for my father. I am new to knitting and there are lots of firsts for me. This is my first afghan and my 2nd major project.

My son really likes it.

Here is my first real project. It's the Hermione hat from Harry Potter. I'm very excited about how well it turned out. Yay for knitting.
