I got my WONDERFUL and amazing bo peep scarf from Saintcady this week Cheesy It's made from such soft lovely yarn and I have been snuggling it every time I look at it! haha

I tried to take a picture to show how epic the knitting is but wasn't entirely successful. I don't really know a whole lot about knitting but I know this took a lot of wicked effort and I am so honored to have it! Thank you! x

Okay, here are the other crafted items that I made for my partner! I had enough time to get the photos sorted out Smiley

First, an adipose (Doctor Who) needle book using fabric I illustrated and silk-screened myself.

Next, a tea towel with a Doctor Who themed artwork that is close to a cool graphic I found online. I silk-screened it myself.

This one I was really excited about. I created an original illustrated artwork inspired by christmas and Doctor Who and printed it myself to make custom Christmas cards! It was my first time using my illustrations to do this and also printed my own stationary Cheesy

Lastly, a bunch of ornaments. The adipose was actually a set of three but I didn't want to be repetitive because they all looked (mostly) the same haha.

Well, that's all from me! I hope my partner enjoyed everything I sent Smiley

It looks like my partner didn't have a chance to post any pictures of the goodies I made her, so I figured I would at least show you all the stocking I made! I don't have the energy to do the rest of the photos haha. My partner wanted a dollhouse her whole life so I decided that I would make her stocking into the first dollhouse for her eventual collection! I sketched out an original dollhouse and then used butcher's paper to hand paint the lines and freehand painted the fills. I then embroidered all over, adding a bit of sparkle with seed beads and sequins in some places.

I got mine this week! I was partnered with SevsOnlyGirl Smiley This is what it all looked like before the paper was ripped away! haha

I was open to receiving and unconventional "stocking" so she created a quilted blanket for me instead of a stocking! Check out all the different fabrics! Quilting is something I really admire and this is the first one I have ever owned. Pretty special Smiley

There were two customizable mugs, a ton of Nightmare Before Christmas figurines that will look fabulous on our NBC themed tree along with a two lightbulb ornaments, one NBC and the other is Lumpy Space Princess from Adventure Time!

This was the stocking she sent to hold all the goodies inside along with some other fun stuff, a paracord bracelet, Doctor Who theme key, mini flashlight, and some blinged up gloves!

Next is a lovely super soft pair of upcycled mittens (love the argyle!), a needle book, and a cute little santa ornament

Super soft purple with sparkle woven in knitted boot cuffs. They are so pretty and soft!

Thank you so much! I had a fun swap Smiley

b]smashu[/b], that topography fabric is amazing! I can not believe that you matched that print by hand- outstanding! I was looking for some topographic map printed fabric last year to make an apron for my classroom, but I couldn't find any. I never thought to print my own (but it never would have come out as well). Duly impressed...
Thank you! Smiley I feel like there is a clear demand for topography fabric based on all the comments, I might have to look in to this Wink lol

smashu - I love the frog cycle fabric! Again another masterful integration of a repeat. You have some serious skill!
You are too sweet! I am so glad both my partners like their fabric Smiley

I received from sheepBlue!! It's an adorable fox curled up and I love the pattern on the fabric behind Cheesy I have no clue what I am going to be making with it yet but I've been showing it off to everyone!

cinnamon teal: that yarn is BEAUTIFUL! The cups are great too Smiley

I did another Ikea hack and forgot to post it here! The only full size image I have has a little title on it, hopefully that isn't a big issue if I'm just posting here.. I also have some in progress images on my blog. It was so much fun building something! I mean, I know it's Ikea.. But I still was sanding things down, painting, and drilling holes to make it work better! This was originally a Ikea Rast, we got two of them and then made them pretty Cheesy

I also FINALLY was able to create a repeating intestine textile pattern and silk screen it, which was still on my list from last year. I used it for the front pocket on this cosplay design I JUST finished (I drafted it from scratch and also created the ribcage graphic with butchers paper). A gold star if anyone knows what it is for Wink

Honestly, it felt damn good to make a costume piece. It has been a few months since I've been remotely motivated to sew anything for a costume, brain has just felt broken. You can probably see how excited I was once I put it on by my expression in the picture lol

I have been trying out some Ikea "Hacking" the last two months because we needed new furniture! This was my first project. Technically more of an upcycle than a hack I suppose Smiley I broke down a Beddinge futon we were getting rid of and created 6 floor cushions with removable covers. If they are stacked, they take the place of an Ottoman. I can also use them to kneel on when cutting out giant pieces of fabric! (<- chronically bruised knees are thanking me for that lol). I have some images of the work in progress here.

I just received my package from Applesin and she was so thoughtful! I can't believe she made so many items Cheesy My valentine and all the separate items which were wrapped in super cute paper and numbered in the order I should open them. She included some cute valentine foam glasses and a set of MLP valentines I can use!

I had said I'd love MLP themed Christmas ornaments for next year and she did not disappoint. She and her little ones collaborated on some snowflake ornaments, so cute!! And then she knitted TEN little stockings in all the ponies colors! I LOVE THEM!!

Everything is so cute, thank you so much Applesin Smiley

smashu: I have a couple vinyl toys sitting around, but I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for them. What did you use to create yours?
I used something to prime the base of the toy so the paint would stick, an acrylic medium that I can't remember the exact name of at them moment. Then acrylic paint for the base and hair, black sharpies to draw on the details.

Thank you carolmb and ehinders:)

always, I love the socks and bowls! I have not tried knitting yet, socks look impossible lol

I made a purse for a really cool fundraiser spearheaded by an amazing 4-year-old to raise money for the endangered Asian elephants! Her mom is on C-ster and I'm sure many of you know her! Smiley
