You could use any food box you wanted, provided it was made from a lightweight cardboard. I chose a frozen pizza box.  It's really easy to do, took less than 10 minutes.  It would be cool to just have in your purse or pocket, show how green you are.  I used a rubber band for the closer, but a piece of elastic would have probably been better. I was in a crafting mood though, not a buying mood.

If someone can read this part of a pattern and let me know if they think there's an error, I would appreciate it. It's for the front left piece of a baby sweater.

"With CA, ch 22. Work in dc same as back across 20 sts until 9" from beg, end wrong side row; turn."

Now, the back was worked in dc across, then turn, ch3, and dc across again, working a dc in the top of ch-3 at the end of the row. I'm assuming that I need to have the turning ch3 with this front piece as well, AND work a dc in the top of that ch-3 when I reach the end of the row, but it doesn't say that.  If I don't do it, it's starting to look a little wonky.  I'm only on the 3rd row of this, so I can still take it back to the foundation row if I need to, but I just want to make sure.  Should I be working it exactly as it says or should I just assume it's the exact same as the back piece was?

Sorry if that was an elementary question, obvious to someone else, but at 6am this morning (was killing time before I left for work), it just didn't make any sense to me.

I made this little mouse for my 2-year old nephew.  His babysitter's oldest son has a pet mouse and now that's all he talks about or wants.  He should hopefully be getting it in the mail today. I hope he likes it! It's the first thing I've crocheted that wasn't flat!

Changes I made to the pattern: I embroidered the eyes, instead of using buttons.  Otherwise, I think it's pretty much the same.  Next time, I would use clear thread to sew the pink part of the ears to the main part, but I didn't have any. It was a last minute project! Also, the pictures make it look like I put on the ears lopsided, but I really didn't. It's how he "sat" for the picture.  Also, he can lay down, we just thought he looked cute this way.

OK, I have done the requisite search of the boards and I'm not having any luck. Maybe I"m blind, but I can't find anything. I have a couple of really cool corset tops that don't fit anymore and would like to turn them into purses.  Ideas? Patterns? If someone would direct me to a board or a link, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am interested in making one of those long, hanging organizers where you can put each day's clothing, accessories, etc in a little slot at the beginning of the week and have it all organized for the entire week.  I can't find a picture of exactly what I'm talking about, but I'm sure there is a brilliant person on this site can help me.  You see them most typically for children, but I'm wanting to make one for myself and I need a pattern or at least a guide.  I'm just starting to learn how to sew, so simple is best. 

Does anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about?
