51  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / 25 wpi, dbl ply - blue/white on: January 02, 2008 09:24:50 AM

This is 481 yards, about 25 wpi. I carded about 50/50 corriedale with the blue from Carol Lee's #1 wool roving.  The pictures don't show the true color, which is more a purple than a blue.  These will be knitted into socks for me:

52  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Burgandy, 16 wpi dbl ply on: January 02, 2008 09:23:57 AM

This is from Carol Lee's #1 wool roving.  A deeper burgandy than what shows on her page.  Paul fell in love with it immediately and asked for a toque.  There is 366 yards of double ply, about 16 wpi:

55  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / intro MullersLaneFarm on: November 13, 2007 01:26:22 PM
Found out about this little corner of the www a couple weeks ago,.

It's been fun to see all the beautiful things folks are doing!!

I love older crafts, what were once mainstays of the American household:

I've made cold process milk soap since 1999 as well as other beauty products such as lotions, creams and mineral makeup.

what else?  my husband and I raise the majority of our food (100% meats and 80% vegetables and fruits)

I've been hanging out on the fiber forums.
56  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / hand dyed, hand spun on: November 07, 2007 01:46:48 PM
Here are a few of my more recent dyeing adventures:

This is from a grey Romney fleece, drum carded with a bit of white romney to give more of a heathered look, then dyed

Corriedale roving:

Icelandic fleece, spun thick/thin, dyed, knitted & felted into clogs:
