12  Friendship bracelet swap? (Link to SIGN-UPS included!!!) in New Swap Theme Ideas by nutritiongal on: October 04, 2005 06:33:34 PM
SIGN-UPS started: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=69991.0! Come and join!

Anybody remember those ones we all used to make with thread and those "4" knots? What if we all made one and sent it to someone? They are so light, we could probably send then in regular envelopes for very minimal postage.
Any takers?
Now, I can't organize, if there are folks that want to do this, and I also can't be in it, prob. until the end of November (when my first swap finishes).
But I would be willing to organize, come January maybe? Unless you guys want to do it before Christmas.
Anyway, yep.
EDIT:
Just because I'm bored. But they do not need to be that complicated. I can't even make them that complicated.

I get home from school today and look what I found!

Now what's in this cheery box?

It's Ducky! He arrived tired and happy, but a little smelly, I guess it's hard to bathe in a box...
I was happy to see him, but he misses you grasshopper.
He told me he's excited to have adventures.

15  Collage Shoe Box in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by nutritiongal on: March 31, 2005 03:39:05 PM
My sister (she's 13) made this and I thought I would like to show it off for her.

She cut things out of magazines and newspapers and then used "Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish" to seal it when they were placed on the box.

She hid her face because she's actually got six eyes and two noses.
No, just kidding.

There were more pictures but I removed them, if you are still interested in seeing them, please PM me and thanks for your interest.

Those are just three different views of the pictures on the box.
So, what do ya think?
