1  Harry Potter Russian Nesting Dolls in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Monklin on: July 07, 2010 11:00:37 PM
I went to Hobby Lobby the other day to grab some supplies when I came across some blank russian dolls. I couldn't resist myself and bought them. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do, but then I decided on a Harry Potter theme.

Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape (my personal favorite), Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Voldemort! Cheesy

I'm planning to do a True Blood series next. Hope you all like 'em.  Grin

2  Soccer Ball. in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Monklin on: November 10, 2007 10:10:18 AM
I didn't know where to post this. hopefully this is the right place.

We have this hispanic festival at our school every year (since 99% of us that live in this city are part mexican) and our Pre-Cal teacher made us create soccer balls for one of the game booths. Normally we were suppose to make it out of cardboard or some strong material, but I decided to sew it.  Cheesy

Here's how it turned out:

Sorry if this is such a crappy picture.
My camera totally died and I used my camera phone.

I would take a picture of it now,
but some little kid won my soccer ball.

Apparently this lady thought I "bought" this soccer ball.

Pfft, if only she knew I spent 5-7 hours of my life creating it for some little kid to win it!

But it's alright. The hard work paid off and I got a 100 in my project.
I'm officially passing Pre-Cal! Cheesy
