Great packages everyone!! I particularly love Razberry's mermaid tote and Ptarmic's underwater vest!

I got such a great package from Poppyache, I have serious swap anxiety!!...

Hi Xray Kitten, thanks!! I'm super excited about moving home  (although houses in Stockholm are so expensive we can't find somewhere nice to live so it's a bit stressful at the moment...) And hi to Kenners too, nice to meet some Swedish Craftsters!

Well, we're moving in August, and I thought as soon as I get a broadband connection up and running (but first a house to put the computer in...) I'll start sign-ups. How does that sound to everybody? I'm really pleased so many are interested, think this should be a fun swap!!

I received from the supertalented Poppyache!!! It's a fantastic package, lucky me!!!

The themes she crafted to was: old/fragile, lacey, random and secret.

On to the pics!! It was all wrapped up beautifully:



First package I opened, a quilted pencil case with some lovely old lace and vintage pencils inside, + 3 lavendel bags. I needed a new pencil case so that's really handy too!



Next a lovely bib for my baby boy with Cristopher Robin embroidered on it, a romantic decorated photo album, some cards, and a fabulous secret book box!!



The inside of the box, full of secret treasure!!! A cute needle holder bird, a badge, a lace bracelet and two beautiful art objects in resin......... (+ a vintage scarf I couldn't fit into the picture)



Here is a close up of those cards, are they hand-drawn? They are beautiful either way!!



And I really needed a new key ring, only I feel like this is too precious to use...

And last but not least, these coasters, although I think I might try to find a frame and put the one on the right on the wall, it's gorgeous!

Wow, what a lovely package NerdyCrochetGal!!! I particularly like the strawberry wash clothes, love things that are both functional and good looking!!

I'm pretty sure I've received from Poppyache, but I wasn't in when the postman came around so I have to pick it up from a depot. And my husband has the car, so I can only get it on Saturday 

Still, that means I have something to look forward to!!!

Hi everybody!!

I'm so glad there is so much interest, and sorry it's taken so long to do something about it!!

Well, things are a bit of a chaos here because my husband has been offered a job in Sweden (my home country) and we're planning on moving in August! I've lived in England for 11 years now so it's a huge change, and I think a lovely tea party swap would be a very befitting way to celebrate my time here. BUT it's hard to find the time to get it started between trying to find a new home and sorting out the practicalities!! Would anybody want to take over, or would you mind waiting a bit longer? 

By the way, my thought on the ironic tea cozy thing is whether you do it with a 'twist', like update it or make it quirky or kitch. I like traditional too actually. I thought it would be nice to get to choose preference (if any) what you like to make / receive.

I have the ideas and most of the materials but they been sitting on a shelf for these last weeks. We're moving countries and it's crazy busy, I should probably not have signed up for a swap, but you have to have some fun too, right?! 

I was reading about the crying out thing - we tried it but chickened out, it was unbearable... Actually it's kind of working anyway as he sleeps from 7 to 5, but oh, how wish that it was to 7 instead.... How is it working for you?

whoo  I've had a lot of catching up to do on this thread! (been out of action bcs of illness & holiday, fortunately one after the other and not both at the same time!)
