2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / SHRINKY DINKS on: December 08, 2005 02:52:25 AM
I'm really desperate! I've been making shrinky dinks jewelry for some time now and I really like it, but my problem is that they seem to break very easily! the hole I make for bails and split rings and such seems to be very fragile. I've tried to locate the hole a bit more far from the edge, but then it's almost impossible to attach rings etc to it. Is there anything to put on it to make it stronger? And I mean a lot stronger?

I was thinking trying to add a little jump ring to the hole while baking it, but not sure how to do it.

I love the Japanese ones! And it's great they don't match!

Sheriffkarli! Yes, that's what they are and I just  LOVE it! I strongly recommend!

Not really good if you have a lot og white/other light color areas in your pic (sometimes the darker colors seem to "leak" -> leave marks on the lighter areas) but other than that - perfect!

Thanks again! I really appreciate all your comments! Grin

All the pics are printed on Shrinky Dinks inkjet sheets. (well, the large carrots are made of Fimo)
So, the tofu boxes are just pics printed on the plastic sheet.

Thanks! Grin

I used the Shrinky Dinks sheets made for printers and just printed them. As simple as that!

10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! on: August 07, 2005 09:27:00 AM
I have six tattoos, but pics of only three, maybe one day I'll be able to show all of them. But lets start with these three:

My  dog's paw print it's on the right side of my lower belly

a pic of Kitty it's in the middle of my lower back, close to my butt

and black sun on my chest, left side

Don't you just love my pants!? Wink

The other tattoos I have are: a big lily and some tribal stuff around it on my back
tiny daisy on my neck
peace sign and a lily on my ankle
flying butterfly and stardust on my leg.
Gosh! Tha makes seven tattoos, not six! I've always thought I have only six! LOL but who's counting anyway.
