I have been sharing my yarn with other folks, though. I have an online friend in California (I'm in GA) who is going through chemo, who can't afford to buy yarn, so every couple of months, I send off a box of yarn to her. I make afghans and every time there is an article in the paper about a family whose house burned, I make sure they get an afghan. Afghans just make you feel like you are at home, no matter where you are.
That's awesome. I wish I had the patience to make afghans. I've only done a couple & they are so time consuming for me. So I have turned to scarves. I make them for the homeless people in my community.
