4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / wedding pew cones on: March 11, 2011 07:55:56 PM
i got inspired by some other crafty blogs, so i figured i give pew cones a shot. and i do believe they turned out just great. i used red cardstock, white 10 inch paper doilies, grossgrain ribbon and dollar tree flowers. oh yeah, and don't forget the hot glue!

here are some pics. one benefit of being a youth pastor, is that i get to check out how my directions will look at church ahead of time Wink

One of my favorite diy wedding projects. "why?" you ask. because it took the least amount of time and caused no headache or frustration. lol. just get precut wood letters, sand & stain, attach glue on the back, and that's it. i love diying little details to add special touches to my day.

Just finished monogramming my aisle runner for my april 2011 wedding. I'm so excited how it turned out. Such a simple and easy detail that will add a great little punch to the ceremony. And it cost me less than $15!
